30/07/2025: Very stylishly furnished, quiet music – perfect for a dinner for two.

11/07/2025: I have been going to Susie since it was in Charlestown . I’d come in with my colleagues almost every Friday since it was literally a block away from our office. Their location in Charlestown has been replaced with a new café that does not compare to Susie‘s at all! Susie’s bistro never disappoints 🙌🏼🙌🏼 from the dishes they serve to the friendly service I always leave knowing I’ll be back. Even with Suzie’s Bistro changing locations from Charlestown to the Tubbecurry Golf Course the food and service has never changed😊 Still, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The new location is spacious and most of the time their tables are reserved. Thankfully, last time I came on a Friday with one of my colleagues there was a two seat table available for us. The amount of food that I had lasted me all day. It was a perfect meal. And of course, I will definitely be back in the future 🤤

29/12/2024: Fabulous food for the whole family and my son has allergies to dairy fish and eggs. It is rare to feel comfortable and trust all the staff. A big 5 🌟

27/10/2024: Had restaurant booked for birthday dinner for group of 6. Was worried after reading previous review. All I can say is we were blown away. Live in Midlands and eat out frequently, including Dublin. Flannerys is without a doubt at the very top when it came to food and service. Definitely missing out if you don't pay a visit. Friends and I already organising our next visit. Thanks Flannerys for a fantastic experience.

16/09/2025: Review from last trip: we loved this palce when we came as a family. The servers were so sweet and attentive compared to a lot of places we tried. I hope they reopen!! Food was good, prices were great. Sept 14, 2024.

12/05/2024: Beautiful meal in Maxwell's tonight. Staff were super friendly and the food was exceptional. Had garlic mushrooms to start and chicken & beef main and couldnt fault it. Would definitely recommend a visit

20/07/2025: The musicians on 19-20 July 2025 were superb. Very enjoyable music and singing. Would be back if it's just to hear them. I had the fish and chips and swapped chips for onion rings which took a star off. Fish was fresh and batter crispy.

12/06/2025: We had a lovely lunch today. Massive thanks to Mairead who was our server for all her recommendations, courtesy, and humour. It was a pleasure having her look after us. They have a very good lunch menu, with options for everyone, including a very good kids menu. We ended up going for a burger, the fish cakes, and the fish and chips - all amazing, but the fish and chips was the star of the show. Thanks so much Breaffy for a lovely time and look after Mairead - she is a treasure.

10/06/2025: We had a wonderful stay with very friendly hosts and a beautiful homemade Irish breakfast. It is very close to Knock airport so made our journey very convenient. Would recommend if you are in the area.

18/02/2025: My husband and I had a wonderful few nights here looked after superbly by Anthony . The Full Irish was the best we’ve ever tasted with homemade bread and local produce. Endless pots of tea , fresh fruits , yoghurts , cereals and juices. The freshly baked scones were to die for ! Tea / coffee /biscuits always available in the gorgeous quirky sitting room. Our second visit here ( last one pre covid ) and so sorry the restaurant is now closed but plenty of lovely places to eat in Charlestown only a few minutes walk from the Riverside. We will definitely return as the location is perfect for visiting Knock Shrine and a few minutes from the airport .

09/09/2025: Quiet afternoon popped in for a quick bite to eat for lunch. Bar lady was so nice and welcoming. We will defo be back. 100% home cooked food. Simple menu but just what we wanted. Homemade veg soup and brown bread… so fresh Chicken goujons wrap with sweet chilli. Amazing value and literally 10 mins waiting.
