03/09/2024: Amazing pub long may it not change. Incredible signs and snugs and goes on for ever. Serves good Guinness at reasonable prices. Friendly staff too. If only all pubs were still like this

08/04/2024: I ordered food here after a night out and the chicken was raw, pink and Bloody. Poor chicken was barely dead. Not great for a big crowd most likely ordering the same food. I have pictures of the chicken to go with it. Not a very good first impression of the place for me..

08/11/2024: We had a nice meal here recently. The restaurant was very quiet but it was mid-week and most of the town appeared quiet. 2 adults and 2 kids and we got starters and mains with drinks. We all enjoyed the food and couldn't fault anything here. Would be great to see a bit more atmosphere in it.
21/09/2024: Food and service was amazing . Everything was so fresh and full of flavour . We ate early evening. We were a group of 4 and shared some starters and had a main course each . Great portion sizes . Great night .

There ia no fakeness to it , real people , real drink and good service.
Kate is the best bar lady I have come across in years, a real asset to the place.
Don't go in there expecting pretentious nonsense.

21/10/2024: I ordered 2 doner kebabs and I was present when it was prepared for me, it was served to me by a seller with unwashed (black) hands, as if he was repairing a car. It used to be a great place! Keep clean!

16/07/2024: No welcome by the manager who barely speaks English. Table disposable nylon cover is ripped and overused. Manager gave us the menu and left without saying a word. Food came in and there were flies in the restaurant around us and he did not make the slightest effort to remove them. The manager sat on the table beside us and opened youtube on his loudspeaker, what an exquisite dining atmosphere! The food tastes like nothing (neutral). If I can rate zero, I would not hesitate. We paid and left, no good bye and no please come again. Pitiful indeed!
19/05/2024: We ate late on Sunday night Butter Chicken, Tandoori chicken, and #51 lamb dish with naan, garlic naan , and basamiti rice. Everything was delicious, reasonably priced and excellent service. Got two bottles of wine to go with the meal. Would definitely eat here again!!!!!

19/08/2024: Watch out for the tap sticking out from the wall ,ripped my tracksuit walking past, told the guy in the shop and he said another one , didn't give a dam , so when someone hurts themselves at least they know about it.

01/10/2024: I ordered Chicken Biryani yesterday and asked them to make it spicy... They told they added green chilies but I think I ordered green chilies and they added biryani into it .. it was the worst biryani I ever had in my life . Never gonna order again from here.
26/08/2024: Like one of those Basil fawlty theme nights bad. Waitress had very bad English, place was freezing cold, my starter was still cold and all of the main courses were really bad. Not cheap either, wont be going back

06/10/2024: Got a takeaway for 2 from here. First time and never again. The chicken was jelly like. Must be the cheapest they could buy. Small item to note..the bill was €30.90. I gave a €50, rather than let the 10 cent go & give a €20 back, she went off and went looking for the 10 cent & change with €15 in notes.
26/09/2024: Ordered my favorite beef Chow mein & egg fried rice & spicy chicken wings I noticed the lantern has either changed the chef or the recipe for beef Chow mein as flavor has changed, beef was like rubber it bounced off the even the cat wouldn't eat it, the spicy chicken wings they were like a rock almost broke my teeth and too top it off my my total for my y Chinese delivery was €26.20 I came to the door with €40.20 i should have received €16 change I told the girl it wasn't right she went back to the car she came back with €13.80 I said it still wasn't right all this time my delioush rubbery Chinese was going cold so I just had to let go I only €13.80 Change. I'm definitely not going back to bed over charged for rubber food
