The Old Grainstore Westport in Westport

Lovely pub with welcoming and friendly service. We were served quickly, even when it was very busy. Obviously a popular venue - but despite the bar area being full, we easily found seats in the back area. Would return, great drinks and great atmosphere!

Fantastic old school boozer with a decent whiskey selection.

Stopped in for a lovely pint of Guinness and to watch the golf, ended up chatting with the owner, I felt right at home.... Lovely place, great staff, and a nice crowd

A great bar in Westport, delicious Guinness and an exceptional collection of whiskey - a Scotch or two available too. Service is excellent, staff and customers are a friendly bunch - a bar in Westport not to be missed. Regular whiskey tastings too - get involved! 🙌

One of, if not, they nicest pints and Bars in Westport. Bar staff incredibly friendly and knowledgeable - especially about their Whiskey. The interior and the back yard exterior are incredible - big screens for sports, lots of snugs and booths. The back bar is a lovely space. Always a great experience here Door Staff very fair and friendly as to who they let in. Update: was back here over the weekend. Couldn't have asked for better service! We did a Whiskey Tasting for a group of 16 lads. Viv, Matt and their team were brilliant. So knowledgeable about the Whiskey - through recommendation we tried the new Redbreast Moscatel and it was fantastic.

What an absolutely incredible place this is. We visited in March 2026 for a whiskey tasting and our host Matt was welcoming, informative and very well versed in all things whiskey. That's before even mentioning the incredible job they have done in renovating the building, and Matt told us all about its history. A gem of a venue with staff to match. I'd definitely recommend a visit, especially for anyone looking for the best of the best in Irish whiskey.
