A lovely homely pub right in the middle of Ballina town,the staff where very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious,price was good and food came out to us very quickly,thank you Jon Alexander

Ate here a few times when staying in Ballina. The food is good with big portions. Owners are gossips though. They are very nosy and talk about customers which isn't professional

Merry Monk

09/03/2026: Good food and great craic at the bar. We were touring the Wild Atlantic Way and needed somewhere to stop for the night and grab a bite to eat. The Merry Monk was friendly, welcoming, and great value. A perfect spot if you’re passing through and looking for good food and a relaxed atmosphere.
