03/09/2026: Let's talk about the turkey and ham lunch. I never know turkey can taste so juicy and soft. The turkey and ham are sliced thick, so we get a good bite in every mouth! Gravy is rich. I would say the whole dish has a rustic and traditional taste. Best of all we got 3 scoops of mash potatoes! We got croquettes instead of the usual roast potatoes. Honestly, blissful after a full meal here. Definitely living up to its name as a family restaurant. We also had the tuna melt, felt like they put a whole can of tuna for the sandwich. Bit more than 16euros for the turkey and ham, definitely bang for the buck.

01/09/2026: Absolutely loved The Junction. The apple pie with warm custard and ice cream was proper comfort food — homemade, generous and absolutely delicious. Exactly the kind of dessert you hope for when you order apple pie. Great food, warm and fast service and a lovely atmosphere. One of those places that just does the simple things really, really well. Five stars across the board and well deserved!

29/08/2026: We were facilitated at the last minute. Bar food downstairs and restaurant upstairs. The food was good and the staff were nice.

23/08/2026: Our regular Saturday coffee spot 🤤🩷 love Boho!! Their pastries, coffee, and the whole cosy atmosphere are just too good. The location is such a calm little spot to sit, slow down, and kick-start your day. Such a cute place right next to Ballina Quay, with the friendliest staff!! One of those little places that makes an ordinary Saturday morning feel a bit more special. 🩷☕️

15/08/2026: Stayed in the apartments. The staff are very welcoming and the regulars are friendly. The apartment all through was spotless. I had a decent weeks sleep until Thursday night. Should've gone sleep early ready for work. Got woke up half eleven twelve. Status Quo, The Cranberries all sorts. A live band downstairs. I ended up at 1 o'clock in the morning having a crafty ciggy at my bathroom window singing Cher, "Do you believe in life after love"

04/08/2026: Great little pub with friendly customers and dog friendly took our 2 greyhounds in again this year.

29/07/2026: Great little pub overlooking the river Moy. Always a nice atmosphere, and perfect whether there are two or twenty of you socialising. Nice pint of Smithwicks too.

16/08/2026: Recently went to The Everest Nepalese Restaurant in Ballina and had a good experience. We tried the Butter Chicken, Everest Special, butter naan, kids meals and a few other items from the menu that I can’t recall the names. The food was tasty, portions were good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. If you're Asian or looking for food that suits an Asian taste palate, this is a nice place to try in Ballina.

20/07/2026: This was our favorite pizza place in Ballina. The restaurant was always spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and had a great eye for detail. Every ingredient was placed so beautifully on the pizza. Everything was delicious, and we always enjoyed coming back

10/08/2026: Basic room, but had everything needed. Staff was very responsive. Breakfast was awesome. Irish breakfast is big enough for two. Lively pub with lots of local patrons. Would be a great place for those looking for a pint of Guinness after a day of travel.
