Best specialty coffee in ballina with lovely selection of pastries. Beans by the bag available to buy with some good brewing equipment on sale for people getting more into specialty coffee brewing at home. Also great they're stocking interesting items from irish businesses such as perfumes, cards and books!

29/05/2026: The Bridge Coffee. Probably the best tasting coffee in Ballina! Smooth & aromatic, not acidic at all 💯 Lovely staff, always nice, willing to listen to bespoke orders. Atmospheric setting by the river, unmatched in town🎣🌊
20/05/2026: Lovely pub, with such a friendly Bartendress. All part of why we Canadians loved visiting Ballina.

Merry Monk

02/07/2026: Recently had a mediocre carvery lunch here. Service was ok but then the place wasn't busy. On the plus side there's plenty of free parking & it's accessible.
02/07/2026: Food is absolutely amazing. Great staff and friendly atmosphere. Im delighted to be a regular at The Merry Monk because you always get great food.
