Achill Cliff House Hotel & Restaurant in Keel-dooagh

Very pleasant experience last Sunday night in the Cliff House Hotel! The staff could not possibly be more accommodating. Really nice breakfast, especially the pancakes! They gave us loads of information on the local area also. Definitely recommend!

We were recommended this place by our B&B hosts not far from here. We had a 45 Euro 2-course meal each. It was very good, and ingredients were presented carefully and tasted fantastic. Definitely made for a nice dinner after a day of driving.

We, 2 couples, had a lovely time in ‘mixed’(!) weather over the Easter weekend this April. Attentive staff, comfortable rooms, great food, flexibility and help, plus extras like afternoon tea for drenched walkers!

I visited Achill Island to explore the island and hike through Nephin National Park. The hotel was in the perfect location to explore all those places. The staff were great. Very kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. The only issue was with the room. I prefer a cooler room at night and I could not turn off or adjust the heat in the room which made it a bit challenging to sleep. There was also a generator or heating system that kept running during the night next to my room which made it hard to sleep due to the running noise it made. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Stayed for three nights Easter weekend 2026. Staff were lovely and room was big and spacious and clean. Tea making facilities. we booked dinner as part of the package for two nights. Food was extremely nice and fresh. There is a sauna available which we used for two days. Location is great and right beside the sea on keel beach. Would recommend.
