A great bar & restaurant, busy but well run, great staff and excellent food

Best place for food in Achill Island

Usually busy, but great food. Worth the wait. Had the “Red Curry” it came with delicious coconut based curry sauce with chicken & rice + One big papadam. 🍛 However do not order the “Sauce boat” For it does not come in a “boat,” but a cup. Was not explained very well what it was exactly. Resulting in an unnecessary double charge.

Everyone here is very friendly and welcoming. We ate here for 3 evenings and loved everything. The quantity of food was great. The food was always fresh and piping hot. It was busy but they really tried their best to seat us asap. Reservations weren’t available when we asked, and the wait at peak times could be between 30-60 minutes. But we were happy to enjoy our drinks while waiting for a table. They also check in frequently.

Had lunch there. Good bar. Carvery style food. Really fast service. Clean and modern bathrooms.
