Food very good and meets the price, Waiting staff pleasant but handling the lip area known as the customer end while serving drinks..... Slippage in etiquette but overall good

The food was fantastic. I had the fillet steak and there was plenty on the plate. visited Achil last week and were delighted to have been able to get into this brilliant restaurant and bar. The girl at the door, unsure of this Galway lass’s name as I have a poor memory unfortunately, was superb in advising what time to come in at in the evening for dinner even though the three sittings in the restaurant were all booked. We arrived at 5.30 as advised and we had a table in the bar within 35 minutes. We stayed for the night having quite a few drinks in very comfortable surroundings and nice company. So much so that we repeated the visit on Monday evening. The staff are all extremely vigilant and helpful. But the girl on the table bookings is a treasure to that business. How she juggles the crowds vieying for tables and remembers everybody is beyond me and does it all with a radiant smile and great personality. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone. The food is fantastic. And the value, as far as we are concerned Is outstanding. Also one of the cheapest rounds we got in all of the west of ireland over a two week tour from west cork to Achil. Tried different dishes over the course of 3 different sittings/ times and all perfect. Pint also good.

loved this place, had oysters followed by mussels - a dangerous combo some places but here were so fresh and delicious, very busy but all the waitresses and bar staff were so polite and helpful really cheered me up after a poor meal in our b&b the first night- HIGHLY RECOMMEND

You can't visit Achill Island and not eat here! Food was amazing, we both eat steaks and they were both perfect. Service was great as well
