25/08/2025: A very popular pub with a wide selection. They have a dairy-free dessert menu.

25/08/2025: Very busy place in a good way. Only had to wait 5 minutes for a table to be free on a busy Saturday. The specials menu had lots of fish options. I chose the mussels and my partner chose the monkfish. Both were delicious! Staff were friendly and attentive and we didn't feel rushed at all.

03/09/2025: food was different than I would normally eat but it was amazing staff was so nice treated me like a king chife was also amazing he knows his foods an flavours within the foods would most definitely come back

10/08/2025: We were so unbelievably lucky to stumble upon this brilliant gem of a restaurant! It’s fresh farm-to-table food created by Chef Thomas, a high calibre Parisian chef who puts passion and creativity into the menu and service. We had the pleasure of meeting both Chef Thomas and the owner, Ann Kelly, who made our experience truly memorable! There was a large party there when we dropped in and they still managed to fit us in and let us know it would be a longer wait for the food which we appreciated. We didn’t even notice the wait as we were having an amazing time and they gave us two amuse-bouche on the house to start. Both were divine! Their service was impeccable and everyone was absolutely lovely. Our French onion soup and scallop starters were delicious. Steaks were cooked perfectly and we felt taken care of the entire time. Truly impressed by the quality of this place and the affordable prices - will be recommending this place to everyone we know and will be back again ourselves!!

17/08/2025: This Bar Restaurant was a good choice for us as a Family to have supper at. Very Friendly, got a table straight away. Service was quick. The food was delicious. The inside of the Bar was well decorated creating a great welcoming feeling

08/09/2025: Westport-we stopped in for soup and dessert, soup was phenomenal as was dessert. Our waitress was fine, the “hostess /manager”was a bit much (we overheard how she spoke to the staff and later was short with us too). The musicians were great (guessing they were siblings) we really enjoyed them. This is a neat place. While we didn’t have a full meal I watched several huge delicious looking meals come from the kitchen. We stopped back two nights later to listen to the music and have a pint, these guys have some great talent playing there.

06/08/2025: Vicky and I stopped by Achill Sound Hotel for coffee and scones, and we had a delightful experience. The atmosphere was warm, the staff were friendly, and the scones were delicious. Highly recommend for a cozy pitstop!

22/07/2025: We popped into the bar for a quick bite in between lunch and dinner. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Stop in and stay with them and grab a pint and food. They have a platter with various seafood. The smoked salmon was incredible!

19/08/2025: Food is good, but system when you can order at the bar only after telling the number of your table, which while you wait at the bar gets taken, is really very strange.

17/07/2025: We stayed here for two nights and would stay again. Our room was clean and comfortable. Super glad we had a room on the first floor, because it does get hot in the room without air conditioning. (We stayed in June). The location is great-you can walk to everything in town. The breakfast was fine-not amazing but decent.

If you want to feel that your money is genuinely appreciated by a place that has a real passion for the food that they put on your plate, combined with a quality that is rarely found nowadays then this is the spot. This isnt your normal pre-made, fired into the freezer to be heated in a microwave gods when usual takeaway. This is the "we care about our food and appreciate your business by giving you value and quality for your money. Freshly made food the way it should be with beyond generous portions mixed with REAL homemade taste for alot less than you will pay in your branded takeaways and be hungry an hour later. Real food, real portions and quality. Their chicken Goujon box is next level

Friendly service, a captivating ambiance, a bar in the middle of the restaurant, and a very well-organized menu are a real eye-catcher. High-quality meat and well-seasoned dishes. It's worth a visit!

29/07/2025: The restaurant is very meat-heavy, but vegetarian options are available upon request. Unfortunately, vegan options aren't available. We highly recommend the veggie curry. Not recommended during a football match, as the volume is turned up excessively loud, making conversation impossible.
