10/05/2026: I really enjoyed my stay at Valley House Hostel. The place has so much charm and the breakfast was fantastic—definitely a highlight! I stayed in a 10-bed dorm, and everyone was very respectful. Even when a group returned from a night out in the early hours, they were quiet and it didn't disturb my sleep at all. Lovely stay. Highly recommended!

21/04/2026: Very positive experience of a hostel. Stayed in a female only dorm , slept well. Nice pub at back of house , lovely dining and lounge room. Hope to be back.

24/05/2026: Upgraded to premium suite which was worth it. Only issue was the wifi. Possibly the worst I have ever encountered. Even the TV was having issues...

21/05/2026: Amazing bar. Amazing staff. And amazing food. I highly recommend staying fod couples and families. If you want a great taste of irelnd this is your spot.

16/06/2026: We had been driving for ages trying to find somewhere to get some lunch and how lucky were we to stumble upon Mary's Bakery. Mary does all the baking herself and was so friendly. The egg muffins and apple pie were absolutely delicious and there was a picnic table outside where we could eat. A tasty lunch where you least expect is are the best type and it will definitely be a fond memory from our Irish road trip.

01/07/2026: Absolutely authentic Italian food in an atmosphere that's just like Italy. Recommended starter: Bruschetta – delicious! The best Bolognese in years, penne arrabiata to die for. Espresso just like in Rome. It doesn't get any better. The staff is very friendly and helpful and goes out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. I'll definitely be back! Thanks to the whole team!

25/06/2026: Excellent bar food: I took a duck served in two big legs, probably the best I have had those last 30-40 years! I often take duck i the best restaurants including Michelin star, but nothing arrived at the level of the quality of this duck! Probably a true farm raised duck, living outside and semi wild! Perfectly cooked with a gentle orange sauce, and a very good mashed potato and other vegetables. The duck skin was crispy, but the flesh very soft, flavored and greasy. My wife took a monk fish, served in two big parts, also delicious with a light butter sauce and purée also. Not only the quality of the products is perfect, but it is incredibly well cooked. But the best is for the end : the bill was only 50 euros, including 3 beers! Very nice and smiling service, bringing water for our dog on this beautiful and sunny day! Marvelous dinner in this famous bar! Go there !

16/06/2026: Didnt eat or drink, but a small bottle of water 3.20 euros is too much. Cant imagine the food and the drinks how much they are!

20/04/2026: Landlord is incredibly friendly and makes sure you feel very welcome and at home. Guinness is excellent too

25/02/2026: What a pub ! The keg under the bar, the Stout is cream, Mick himself is a gentleman, the epitome of hospitality, brings out snacks for the customers, makes welcome and warm conversation. A joy to visit, I shall return !

11/06/2026: Amazing food matching with the traditional Korean atmosphere which looked like it was straight from Korea ate there last night and it was the best night out we had in a while the staff were also super polite and would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend . For dessert I got a brownie which was up there with the best I've had . Overall a 10/10 experience backed with amazing food

10/06/2026: On a recent visit to Blacksod North Mayo fifteen of us booked dinner at the Talbot.We were given copies of the menu on route from reception. The food ,service and atmosphere was first class.I will let friends and family visiting the area know.

12/12/2025: What a beautiful café! I had breakfast here this morning and enjoyed a lovely mini breakfast. The service was prompt, and the owner is wonderful — He really looks after everyone with genuine care. A lovely addition to Westport!

25/05/2026: Horrible food cheeseburger was cold but the onion rings were the worst absolutely vile soggy and bloated in oil you could wring the burned oil out of them

08/04/2026: Stopped by for food, and it was so quick and so fresh. Staff was so lovely and created a very nice atmosphere . Would definitely recommend and will be returning:)
