13/11/2024: Myself and my husband were married in Belleek at the end of October. It was a small, intimate wedding as we only wanted to celebrate with our nearest and dearest and share a magical moment in time with all of them. The team and the venue not only achieved this, but they managed to pull each and every one of us through time and create one night in which we could all live as in another lifetime. From the second we walked through the doors, we were greeted with the almost haunting atmosphere of the medieval reception hall and the smell of turf burning on the open fires. The candlelight dancing through the hallways guiding your path at night adds to a truly spectacular experience overall. Our ceremony and wedding reception was a demonstration of the most exemplary service, led by Shauna, the single most remarkable human being I have ever met. She's is a gift and the living embodiment of Irish hospitality. If what she had could be bottled and sold then the industry would be saved from near ruin. 07/11/2024: One of our favorite places we stayed at on our honeymoon! While we only stayed for one night, this stop was everything we could have dreamed of. The staff was friendly, especially the bar manager, Steven. He took care of us during our afternoon tea, and we saw him buzzing around all evening carrying out multiple duties at dinner and working behind the bar. A+ employee!! The included breakfast had an excellent selection to choose from and was delicious. The room was large and the whole place was so beautifully authentic. The beds were comfortable and the place was quiet. The water pressure in the shower was less than ideal, but the overall experience was amazing and we would return in a heartbeat if given the chance. Thank you for giving us, what felt like, the Royal Treatment!

30/10/2024: Reserved a table for dinner thinking we would spend the night there. When we arrived, was shown to several different tables eventually given a table in the middle of the restaurant which we were not happy about. We got the impression that we were being rushed out even though we had reserved a table that morning. We ate our food which was lovely then left immediately. We will dine elsewhere for the rest of our holiday.

04/11/2024: A traditional Irish pub and restaurant with friendly efficient staff. Food was superb with several Chefs Specials available, I had the Pork Belly Ribs & they were delicious. Good selection of drinks including the locally brewed Mescan Craft Beer. An Granuáille Uaile also has a beer garden with a view of both the Bay and the Seven Arches Bridge and shows the main sports on a large flat-screen TV.

02/11/2024: Food was delicious, bbq wings were phenomenal. Gluten free pizza crust was amazing. Very crispy! Would recommend!

19/10/2024: After a trying day Carneys lifted our spirits with a great meal, fresh ingredients and menu and great service. Thankyou!

21/09/2024: By luck we picked Carney's for dinner. We are glad we did ! We felt welcomed the second we stepped through the door. We had Duck, Ceasar salad, vegetable soup and a Goat Cheese Tart. Oh, and the wonderful brown bread. It was all wonderful made only better by exceptional service and friendlycustomers. If we ever are near again we will be back.

28/10/2024: So nice to have local good barista coffee. Dog friendly too which is rare in Ireland. Electric car charging round the back also.

18/09/2024: Lovely coffee, friendly service and a great location. What more could you ask for. If you are in the area and need your coffee hit for the day stop here. Pleasant outdoor seating too.

21/10/2024: I hope Stephan reads this. Primarily a restaurant must be about the food,everything else is secondary,you can put up with a lot if the food is top notch. But.... not only is the food first class,(I had venison) everything else was too. It's not big,it's got character as has Stephan and the lady that met us at the front(forgive me for not remembering your name) . The only problem is....it's so good ,many know it it's not huge ,so you must reserve a table. Granted we went on spec and they very kindly fitted us in . As the French might say "un repas exqui". Bon soir a tous.

15/10/2024: Overpriced and disappointing. Was rushed and the staff did not know the allergens. Food was nice but for the price you’d expect more. It’s very rough around the edges which is a shame. It was mid week and not too busy but for the guts of €200 you’d expect more attention to detail and not up be rushed. The starters were not cleared and the main arrived.

03/11/2024: Consistently excellent. Group of 8 last evening. Food and service excellent. Have been a number of times and always the same high standard.

25/10/2024: Class meal, from the prompt email reply in booking to the end of the meal this was class! You get a choice of menus, picked a starter of mushrooms and mussels strange combo but really tasty thanks to the waitress for the recommendations , prawn curry with basmati and an extra of alloli fries (not required) the portions are huge…..then the best for last baked Alaska omg delicious 😋 so worth a visit sorry it’s taken so long to venture back here, won’t be as long this time!

04/11/2024: Dropped in for breakfast during the Dark Skies Festival, the place was packed with just one free table. Despite being super-busy, the staff were still efficient and friendly. We both ordered the full Irish breakfast, and it was one of the best full Irishes I've ever tasted. Kelly's Kitchen is attached to Kelly's butchers shop next door, so of course, the quality of the Rashers, Sausages, & Black & White Puddings was superb. Along with the perfectly cooked eggs, mushrooms, tomato, and Boxty potato cake. Breakfast was excellent, and I'll definitely return here when I'm back in Newport.
