Olive's Seoul Food in Claremorris

Although it was Sunday and the Korean owner was off work, I would like to express my gratitude to the chef for preparing generous portions of kimchi fried rice and kimchi stew, along with the kind staff member's explanation, on a Sunday. We are a Korean couple in our 50s traveling to every corner of Ireland for the past three weeks since leaving Dublin, and wow, we were so delighted to come across a Korean restaurant. It was surprising just to find a Korean restaurant in a city outside of Dublin. It turns out they are closed on Mondays. The food was so delicious that I had planned to pack 2-3 gimbap rolls to go if they weren't closed on Mondays, but leaving my disappointment behind, I am setting off again toward another countryside in Ireland. I am always rooting for you,사장님 (owner). Please stay healthy!

Completely unassuming from the outside. But inside, up the stairs, and you're sitting in a very nicely decorated restaurant with just a few tables. Small and charming. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly, even though we hadn't made a reservation.

It was Absoloutely amazing and I enjoyed the food. The Tteokbokki is something I would definitely recommend! Excellent quality and will go again.

Lovely restaurant, unique in the west of Ireland so lovely for something different. Will travel to go there. Food is great, and there are loads of korean snacks/foods on sale to bring home including Olive's kimchi which is amazing, we'll go back just to pick that up again.

A little gem tucked away upstairs in central Claremorris. Highly recommended!

Amazing food matching with the traditional Korean atmosphere which looked like it was straight from Korea ate there last night and it was the best night out we had in a while the staff were also super polite and would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend . For dessert I got a brownie which was up there with the best I've had . Overall a 10/10 experience backed with amazing food

The food is very tasty and fresh. Every one I've tried so far has been perfect. The portions are just right, so no one leaves hungry. They have the best homemade kimchi ❤️
