Le Petit Vatel was more than amazing — it was truly an unforgettable experience. Chef Thomas welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like special guests from the moment we arrived. The staff was courteous, warm, and excellent throughout the evening.
The food was absolutely fantastic, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. One of the most special parts was that the chef kept coming out of the kitchen to talk with us about the dishes, the ingredients, and life in general, which made the whole experience feel incredibly personal and memorable.
We also had the chance to tour the farm, and it was amazing to see where many of the vegetables used in the restaurant are grown. That connection between the farm and the table made the meal even more special.
At the end of the night, we were sent off with a bottle of champagne and two boxes of macarons and chocolates — such a generous and thoughtful gesture.
This was one of those dining experiences we will never forget. I would recommend Le Petit Vatel to everyone and anyone. We would come back every time!

I have dined at Le petit Vatel twice now and each visit Chef Thomas has seamlessly paired his regular tasting menu with vegan dishes of incredible standard and creativity. Extremely welcoming and attentive, his passion for his craft is evident on every plate. Saffron gnocchi, pickled ginger soba noodles, miso dumpling broth, tomato truffle soup, cucumber avocado salad, caramelised onion tart, chocolate, raspberry and passion fruit cheesecakes - each meal has been a gastronomic adventure into new and loved flavours, with many ingredients picked fresh from his own garden. A vegan of 25+ years, it is rare to find a restaurant where such joy is put into each bite. It is a true gem.

We were lucky to get a last minute reservation, the staff were very friendly and professional throughout the whole service. We were greeted by Chef Thomas himself who was delighted to alter the tasting menu to our dietary requirements without any hesitation, you could feel his love for cooking with every bite. The tasting menu had amazing value for the freshness of ingredients and the level of service you receive. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends, will definitely be back.

Food absolutely amazing especially the goats cheese salad for starters and I love the truffle risotto for mains. The attention to detail is amazing , from the complimentary starter and taster soup to the luxurious home made deserts it’s just beautiful. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and chef is experienced and welcoming. Can’t recommend enough.

One of the best restaurants I've visited in a long time! The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Thomas the chef, definitely knows what he's doing and his passion for food is evident in every dish.
