Our second visit to the Village Inn. Absolutely rammed in the main bar due to an important GAA match under way. But the locals were very friendly. Cod and chips just as good as before - and the chicken curry was good too. (Spend includes drinks)
Sunday 31 May
Small Town local pub. If nothing on is usually quiet but a pleasant atmosphere. If the Irish football is on can get busy and noisy, but still enjoyable and worth experiencing. Food is of an excellent quality and there are tables/seats outside as well as inside. Seating at bar. Games area towards rear of pub and widescreen TVs to view sports. Toilets (mens) clean and tidy. Parking is on street and free (I think) but if its busy you may need to park a distance away. Most importantly the Guinness tastes a dream!
