We visited Nevin's Restaurant as part of a tour group of 50 people, the staff were excellent, attentive, and kind. The food and drinks all came out so prompty when we had a short time limit and was delicious. Nicest muscles and chowder we've had. Prices were also very reasonable. Very quaint, we wish that we had longer to spend here.

Stopped here for a break and a bite on my way home. Food was delicious, fresh and great value (really big portion). The menu had a nice selection of food and they also have gluten free options. The staff was great, friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Only called on the lunch hour ,had some fries, and Guiness, which was excellent, very clean premises, was very impressed, and we will definitely be going back,

I’ve eaten and drank here many times over the years. This was my first time staying, and it didn’t disappoint. We stayed in the lodge. The staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, and the room was clean and tidy, with towel changes daily. A generous breakfast was included and kept us going throughout the day. Each morning, I could see the attention to detail paid by the housekeepers in the restaurant. We were welcomed with a smile by all members of staff each day. The food was as great as always, with a suitable menu for our 2-year-old son. John Nevin taking his time to greet his customers is not something you always see anywhere else. The strong sense of community from the area is passed on to all guests in every aspect. If you have never visited Ireland and want an authentic experience, this is the place to stay and do it. You are well situated to visit some of the beautiful sites of Co. Mayo.

Excellent fish and chips and very good service. We spent one night at the campervan pitches, which was quiet and very pleasant. Great view and electricity/water available.

Had the best experience visiting the restaurant here 3 weeks ago. The food was just delicious, you could tell the chef puts his or her heart and soul into the recipes and ingredients. Full of flavour and freshness. And the fact that I wasn't too full after pasta, which I usually am, shows they use good quality food. The staff were very friendly and excellent and their jobs. My aunt and uncle brought me to see the robot, which was really cool, but I ended up having an outstanding dining experience all around. Not to mention the owner who was delightful and had lovely chats with us throughout the evening. The decor is cosy but bright and the open fire was a lovely touch. Couldn't possibly fault the place and would highly recommend. Go for the robots but return for the staff, owner and especially the food :) P.s. The desserts were delicious and were served on beautiful blue and white plates which is a lovely touch. Thanks for a lovely evening! ❤️

Very good, exceptionally clean ,well managed restaurant.Attentive and kind service.Irish and international classic dishes were tasty,substantial and reasonably priced.Only one suggestion,serve Oysters on bed of ice,they weren't cold as they should be.
