08/05/2025: We were a large group of 18, we opted for the set menu but requested to pay for drinks individually which I'm sure was a pain in the ass for staff but was facilitated. This made life simple for the group bill wise. Food was excellent, service was excellent and considering the number of us no one was left waiting. Lovely place, we've been here before and would return.

19/05/2025: the food is fabulous, have been twice now both times i went down & the staff is very quick to help you & get you things. sometimes it feels a bit hectic but i can imagine running a cafe it can be like that.

14/04/2025: I came into the cove Monday 14th April at 1:09, was left standing at the bar hatch with no staff coming near me, finally I asked a staff member for a seat and I got pointed towards a table with verbal communication.....I was then left sitting at the table for 15minutes with nobody coming near me again, so I get fed up and left 1:41....waste of a half of my time. Staff don't look one bit happy to be working. I liked this pub for food, come out with my kids once a week. We'll I won't be back now. Ridiculous carry on.

25/05/2025: Eten was goed, van service was geen enkele sprake. Zelden zo’n chaos meegemaakt. We moesten zelf naar bediening om te vragen of we bestelling door konden geven. Ruim drie kwartier op drankje gewacht… fles wijn stond 20 minuten op bar te wachten omdat er geen wijnglas te bekennen was.

01/05/2025: Went for dinner in the oar bar with my son in law and 2 grandsons (2 years & 5 years), the staff were fantastic and very welcoming, food was great and plenty of it, at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

11/04/2025: I was in this restaurant for a short visit to downtown Dublin on a business trip. Given my arrival time I thought I could not find a place open for lunch (it was about 2.00 in the afternoon) and instead, I was amazed that the kitchen was open regularly. I ate the fish soup and the fish and chips, the latter the best I have eaten in recent years, better than those tried in the UK. Fantastic the waitress or the owner, originally from Eastern Europe but that gave me a nice culinary journey in Irish traditions. Highly recommended considering that next door is also the Tample Bar which is an icon of Irish live music.

12/05/2025: Great unpretentious vibe, terrific food, attentive service. The potted crab was one of the best appetizers ever! We both had the black angus strip loin for an entree. It was high quality and perfectly prepared. The bread and butter pudding is worth a trip in and of itself. A very satisfying first dinner in Dublin!

28/04/2025: I have come her twice recently for a family dinner and both times, the experience has been fantastic. The standard of food is unbelievably high, and during my last visit, I ate the best meal the I've had all year. The staff are incredibly professional. This is a fine dining experience right on your doorstep, and not to be missed.

09/05/2025: This small restaurant by the River Liffey is decorated in a very Irish style. It gets quite busy when the weather is nice, and the prices are great. They offer a variety of set meals in the morning and at lunch, including Irish breakfast and potato cakes — all super tasty!

08/05/2025: Fantastic restaurant and a must visit for anybody coming to Dublin. It is cozy and intimate, and has a lot of Irish character. Food is affordable, homely and delicious. Staff are super friendly.

06/04/2025: Jack is an unbelievable barman couldn’t be more helpful as a customer, Eleanor was also very friendly and an excellent waitress while manager Marie was exceptional dealing with all types of situations but in general all staff are very well trained.

09/05/2025: Anyone who leaves less than 5 stars must be very unlucky or dead inside! The friendliest staff, delicious food, comfortable rooms and a wonderful atmosphere. Did I mention how brilliant the staff are? Go for the Tattinger Champagne experience. Great value.

06/05/2025: classy and decadent. we got the monkfish and fish and chips for main, and oysters and seafood soup for starters. delicious fish and veggies full of butter, which i don’t mind. they did play an ed sheeran song. oysters were amazing. okay they are playing U2 now.

04/05/2025: Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The room was rather old-fashioned but it fit well with the charm of the hotel. The bathroom was very large and everything was clean. The staff was super friendly. From reception to breakfast, everything was very accommodating. The place was also very idyllic, it was a 5 minute walk to Bunratty Castle.

20/05/2025: A great little gastro pub in the centre of Kildare town. I always get the 'blade of beef' when I visit. A lovely occasional treat! The food is simply delicious 😋 and, while not cheap, it's pritty good value for what you get. 😃

13/05/2025: I popped in for lunch to Kitty's on Monday last. I love a good fresh seafood restaurant and Kitty's certainly did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, Patrick, the Maitre De was welcoming, attentive and gave a full descriptive run down on what recommendations he had for the day. Firstly I started with a half dozen Oysters, which were sourced locally from Crum, if my memory serves me right. Proper, fresh, meaty oysters with a shallot and red wine and vinegar mignonette. Absolutely fantastic. The King Prawn Pil Pil is as good if not better that you would get in top restaurants on the continent. Finally, a huge portion of Moules Marniere arrived with hand cut Frites. Fantastic. Wolfed it all down . No room for dessert , but I'll sample that next time. Great culinary experience, thank you all!!! Price was good value I'd say.

13/05/2025: Stopped here after touring Ballymaloe Cookery School for a snack. The pistachio macaron was delicious! Large, perfectly chewy and fluffy at the same time. Fizzy water washed it all down and balanced the sweetness. Well stocked gift shop with every kitchen item you could ever wish for and a nice selection of woolen items. We didn't stay here, so I can't comment on the hotel.
