06/08/2026: Went there pre the Betis v Arsenal match at the Aviva. Very well staffed, great service, great atmosphere - if i ever get vackvtobthe Aviva i'll certainly head back to the Beggars Bush 👍

12/08/2026: The staff confused our booking for 2 so ended up seating us at separate tables, until we discovered it 15 minutes later. I had checked in much earlier giving his name and 7pm booking time. We ordered & ate rapidly and skipped dessert and coffee as our planned enjoyable evening out was spoiled. After my partner sent a requested review directly to restaurant the next day, he received an apology and a voucher to cover a new visit. The "apology" though implied that I was to blame! He was gracious about it and will use the voucher. As for me, never again!

06/08/2026: The rack of lamb was incredible. The atmosphere is really old school, upscale but very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed it. Great first meal in Dublin!

26/08/2026: I had brunch here and I must honestly say that I was a bit tempted by the beautiful appearance of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. After a long wait, I received a completely different order than what I had asked for. Subsequently, I had to wait a long time again for the correct dish, while my dining companion had already started eating. When I asked for an extra roll, because I had only received one slice of bread, I waited for it for almost twenty minutes. Eventually, I only received it after having to ask for it again myself. By that time, the rest of my food was, of course, already cold. When paying the bill, I received apologies and was told that they were very busy preparing for a party. That can happen, of course, but as a paying guest, I do expect that this does not come at the expense of my food and the service. Unfortunately, I found both the food and the service to be quite substandard. Especially considering the price, I had expected much more from this place.

10/09/2026: Amazing food and a great experience overall. Staff was friendly and explained that the food was all locally sourced, nothing frozen, which is why Haddock wasn't on the menu.

12/09/2026: From the time when part of my meal was served it took over 40 minutes to get my coffee and after 1 hour and 20 minutes was still not served my egg..it was all ordered at the same time..I paid the bill and left with never receiving my egg

The dishes are small and elegant, and just the right size so you can enjoy several of them. The service was impeccable, and the whole experience was wonderful! 🦞✨

13/09/2026: ⭐ 1 Star – Extremely disappointing experience after almost 20 years of visiting I have been a regular visitor to Zucchini’s for almost 20 years. The food has always been excellent, and 99% of my restaurant and hotel reviews are positive. I am not someone who enjoys bashing businesses, which makes this review particularly disappointing. I booked a table online for my wife, my parents in their 70s and our 10-month-old baby. The booking system offered the option to add an infant and asked about buggy and high-chair requirements. I completed the booking and received confirmation. On arrival, I was told I had not booked for the infant and that there was no space for our group. I explained that I had booked correctly and tested the website on my phone, discovering that the infant appeared to disappear from the booking afterwards. I have screenshots and videos showing this. When I calmly raised the issue, the owner became extremely confrontational, told me to leave and threatened to call the Garda. This was deeply upsetting for my family, particularly my 77-year-old father. I want to give genuine credit to the assistant manager, who was polite, respectful and understanding. He acknowledged that there appeared to be an issue with the website and immediately tried to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, by that stage, we no longer felt comfortable remaining and decided to leave. Why I have been forced to post this review I initially posted a review on TripAdvisor and deliberately waited 24 hours to give the owner an opportunity to reflect and contact me. No such contact came. The restaurant’s response to my TripAdvisor review is inaccurate and fails to tell the full story. It states that the issue was resolved, but completely omits the threats made to intimidate me and my family. It also fails to acknowledge that we were respectful throughout, and that the assistant manager treated us with courtesy and professionalism. The owner was the person who was rude and confrontational, she was the only member of staff that we had any issue with. She did not have the manners to acknowledge any mistake, either at the restaurant or afterwards, and instead blamed me for a problem with the booking system. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I can now see the option to add an infant has been removed from their website. The issue appears to have been corrected, yet there has still been no apology. I have therefore felt forced to post this Google review as well as my TripAdvisor review, because I do not believe the restaurant’s response accurately reflects what happened. I have huge sympathy for the staff here, particularly the assistant manager, who handled a very difficult situation with professionalism and respect.

28/08/2026: Really impressed. Both had 3 courses, all irish sourced food. The lamb main was a special on the night and was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. All 6 courses did not disappoint. To highlight my wife said, her black pudding salad starter was potentially the nicest starter she has ever had. Staff were all smiling and there was a nice atmosphere with the music playing at a reasonable decibel level. 10/10 would recommend.

05/09/2026: We come back to Old Street Restaurant every year when we’re in Dublin, and it has become one of those places we genuinely look forward to. We’ve been here several times now, including with family and friends, and the quality has been consistently exceptional. What really stands out is the food. The quality of the ingredients, the presentation, and especially the combination of flavors are outstanding. Everything feels thoughtful and beautifully balanced, with those little unexpected touches that turn a very good dish into something memorable. Today was no exception. From the main courses and sides to the dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. For us, Old Street is easily one of our top three restaurants in Ireland. And the fact that we keep coming back year after year probably says it best. Highly recommended. We’ll absolutely be back! ❤️

30/08/2026: This was our absolute favorite meal during our visit to Ireland. Definitely get the mussels, you won't be disappointed. Excellent service, atmosphere, and food. I would fly across the Atlantic again to eat here.
