20/09/2025: The pub is a wonderful local spot. Very friendly people and the proprietor , Joe, is very charming. The service was the best we've had yet, in a week in Ireland. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the halibut special and my wife had the organic chicken. Both well presented and tasted amazing. An absolute must stop for anyone looking for a great meal and a lovely pint.

9 and a half out of ten...as a none salt lover I just thought the chips were to salty but that is the only thing

09/10/2025: Love coming here, especially with the family. Shirley and the gang provide top-notch hospitality with a warm and welcoming touch. This restaurant caters excellently for kids, with the choice and quality of the kids menu as good as the main one! Great restaurant to visit also with colleagues and friends - all guests and occasions are catered for with equal dedication and excellence.

18/01/2026: Very overpriced. Spent 279 for room only. Then had to pay 14e extra to park across the road. Had hassle getting out of carpark next morning. Ticket machine wouldn't work to lift the barrier up. Contacted the hotel they said its nothing to do with them. Unfortunately because of the parking situation I won't be back again. Very poor customer service.
05/01/2026: Perfect location in the city centre. Very quite and comfortable rooms. Staff were lovely.

Pricey but worth it.
22/12/2025: Had 3 counter chairs (and at least two other tables free no reservation signs visible, but they could have been booked) and refused service for 1 person stating "they needed the counter tables to seat people while they wait". Not very welcoming at all! Only offered a table in an hour and 15 minutes but only after I asked the second time could I not take a counter seat.

04/01/2026: Love this place, we always stay here , tea to the room freshly brewed, and good tea too, was in the minus ➖ degrees last night and the room was still so warm I had to open the window, we even got a tea and coffee to go , 5 star ⭐ all the way
01/01/2026: Had a lovely overnight stay with dinner bed and breakfast. Food was excellent. Service was fantastic and staff were warm and friendly. Would highly recommend this place. We will be back
