This is a well established, busy spot, breakfast/ lunch/ evening dinner, food is top notch, change of menu, well staffed/ managed, pristine. Off licence on site, decent amount of free parking, on easy access to or from town.

We were seated immediately. After a kind greeting. The service was quick and the food was better than we expected. I had the pork stroganoff on rice and it was wonderful. My wife really enjoyed her buffalo chicken wraps and she and I are excited about our next visit.

We just had food here and the food and dessert was absolutely delicious. The portions were big and even the children's meal was a big portion. The food was reasonably priced too. I cant fault it at all we will definitely be back

25/03/2026: A beautiful building, a creative and inspirational menu full of flavour, we had to try a few places before we found The Central. The staff were all so naturally kind and helpful, we wanted for nothing. Food was cooked not reheated or microwaved, it takes a bit of time to cook real quality food, it was hot and full of flavour visually appealing the portions were adequate a great cheff obviously. The interior design was unique and the colour scheme was lovely. Would highly recommend.

The Gate

11/04/2026: Had a lovely experience in the gate today!! The women who greeted me were so lovely and really made my experience 10x better. The food being great was a huge plus as well !! Definitely recommend.
30/03/2026: Lovely restaurant, centrally located in Navan town. Highly recommend the vegetarian breakfast - mushrooms were cooked beautifully. Staff are friendly and professional. Will be back!
