05/11/2025: We chose this place as it is right around the corner from Guinness. Irish stew is outstanding, grilled cheese with ham and butternut squash soup and you can't leave out Irish Coffees. If in the area and hungry stop in. Staff were top notch and friendly.

The Guinness stew is highly recommended.

20/09/2025: The pub is a wonderful local spot. Very friendly people and the proprietor , Joe, is very charming. The service was the best we've had yet, in a week in Ireland. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the halibut special and my wife had the organic chicken. Both well presented and tasted amazing. An absolute must stop for anyone looking for a great meal and a lovely pint.

If you're looking for a proper Irish pub experience, look no further than The Whiskey Still. We stopped in for some classicsâthe fish and chips and a pint of Guinnessâand everything was fantastic. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect. The atmosphere was exactly what you want from a local pub, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

12/11/2025: The hotel is great, friendly staff as you'd expect. Nice rooms, cozy lobby and of course a fantastic bar area called "The Killykeen Bar".
Photo attached is an apple pie with vanilla ice-cream and custard sauce, couldn't have done it any better! Overall, easy 5 star for everything.

15/11/2025: We stayed for 3 wonderful nights at Davittâs, and could not have been happier! The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable. The shower was fantastic. The location is perfect for walking around town, and the food at Davittâs was absolutely delicious. We ate dinner there, and breakfast every morning, and the food was amazing. David is a wonderful host and the rest of the staff were super nice. We will definitely return next year to stay at Davittâs! Highly recommend.
