The soup of the day and the bread were absolutely delicious, but the burgers didn’t really win me over. Overall, it’s a cozy and pleasant place.

Over from South Wales for a long weekend. Had two sessions in this bar. The best pint of guinness we had in dublin. Had food in the sandwich shop next door which was very nice. Staff and locals were very welcoming. Definitely come here if you are visiting

Despite being told the burger could be prepared gluten-free, there must have been cross-contamination, and I got glutened. Perhaps other items on the menu are safe for celiacs but unfortunately, the burger isn't. Take extra precautions if you need to avoid cross-contamination.

Harkin's Bar & Bistro is a charming little restaurant close to the Guinness Storehouse. We were satisfied with our freshly tapped beers and the food, especially the Beef & Guinness Stew and the Chicken Sandwich.

A great find! The lower level is just the bar area. If you want to eat, you have to go upstairs, and don't hesitate! The food is very good, the dishes are homemade. You'll leave satisfied! And the prices are reasonable. Go for it!

Bar area seems like a local neighborhood bar. Several local men hanging out watching the game on tv. Restaurant is upstairs. We were the only one in there on a Tuesday evening. Food was OK, but unremarkable Service was fine with cheerful staff.

Try the house special with a pint of Guinness to end your day around the neighborhood. The restaurant is on the second floor, chill and good music selection. Nice and friendly staff. Wonderful establishment

27/02/2026: Fantastic meal. I had the crab, mussels and cockles risotto to start, followed by duck with dauphinoise potato and celeriac, with rhubarb crumble to finish. Each course consisted of a wealth of different flavours. Good service too.
19/02/2026: Three of us visited mid week for a three course set menu. We shared some additional sides and a couple of bottles of wine. I don't recall exactly what we paid but it seemed very reasonable considering the quality of the food . The cadence of the service was perfect. Hosts were friendly and informative. We lingered and at no point did we feel rushed... Definitely will return. Oh and the duck was excellent. Loved the turnips .

14/04/2026: 1st time here and what a lovely surprise beautiful restaurant with excellent food and service, the staff couldn't do enough just brilliant. The food on its own is worth the vist. A 2nd visit is most definitely needed
12/04/2026: It's just a class venue. Tony, our server, just added to the experience. Amazing food, great service, reasonably priced wine list and wonderful ambiance. We will be back
