A traditional pub, and the last one before the Guinness brewery. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced. The service is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is on the first floor, and the pub is on the ground floor. It opens at noon.

Visited this establishment on 6/20/2026 for lunch. The Guinness stew was EXCELLENT! The staff was polite, friendly, and professional. The had a sincere interest in our needs and took the time to explain the menu and offer suggestions.

The food and the atmosphere were great, but the service was subpar. We waited a very long time for our food and nobody came to say anything to us like it'll be ready in a few minutes or there's a delay. Thankfully we had some cool customers sitting nearby us and we struck up a conversation. They seem to be more irritated by us being there than helpful

A typical Irish pub, very busy, with a great atmosphere and excellent food. They also have a restaurant where you can eat. The prices are typical Irish, neither too expensive nor too cheap. It's a great place for a few pints and a meal or dinner, and quite lively.

Great authentic pub, right near the Guinness Storehouse. Not too touristy, ate upstairs first. The food was good, fresh, and tasty. Afterwards, sat downstairs for drinks. Highly recommended.

12/07/2026: Outstanding food. So why are staff so disinterested? We were served by someone who gave us the menu and immediately disappeared without a welcome or an explanation of the dishes (the dishes had local names and we didn't know what they meant). I raised this and the person responded quite abruptly and we felt so rushed that we ordered starters to give us more time to decide on mains. We were told "I'll give you 2 minutes, but it can't be longer". Two minutes later they returned and when we still weren't ready they said "1 minute". At that point I asked if we were on a time limit, which in retrospect was probably a bit sarcastic but what do they expect? The waiting person was then replaced by other people. They were a bit nicer, but the personal touch (interest in customers) expected from this quality of restaurant is missing.
