Trocadero in Dublin

1st time here and what a lovely surprise beautiful restaurant with excellent food and service, the staff couldn't do enough just brilliant. The food on its own is worth the vist. A 2nd visit is most definitely needed

It's just a class venue. Tony, our server, just added to the experience. Amazing food, great service, reasonably priced wine list and wonderful ambiance. We will be back

It was our first time in Trocadero and what an experience we had , we were met by our hostess Mary who brought us to our seats for two , we started with Scallops , Smoked Salmon & Chicken Liver Pate and some Ruby40 Cocktails , our mains were Fillet Steak with Mash , Chips and Mushroom & Onions cooked perfectly to the request taken my Martin our server , desert was pistachio cheesecake which was just next level , we finished up with cappuccino and tea , Mary even ran down the road after us when we had left as my wife had left her glasses behind , Martin’s service was really really excellent throughout the meal , all in all this would really be hard to beat and exceptionally good value for money for produce and service provided . The staff the food the atmosphere make this an absolute must when in Dublin or our case going forward , thanks Mary , Martin and Trocadero it was lovely experience to be with you on Easter Sunday we will definitely be back

An atmospheric restaurant with beautiful design. The duck was excellent! My only request is that wine be poured at the table (exactly what you ordered), as is customary in France, Italy, and Spain, rather than brought from the bar. I found the Rioja to be odd-tasting.

The Trocadero is an Irish staple for food; it's been around for as long as I can remember. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here. The food is always phenomenal, and the drinks are just as good. They have a fantastic selection of wines and cocktails. This restaurant is a family favorite; you have to call and you will see why. The staff are superb; everyone is happy to see you, and they do their utmost to please you. I look forward to the next time I can call again.

The food was delicious, well prepared, the staff were friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was classic quality dining with 8x10 glossies of actors on the wall. My husband and I both had the lamb which was prepared perfectly in a reduction sauce with as side of spinach, for dessert I had the poached pear and my husband had the miso chocolate tart, both were excellent!

Our first time visiting, but it felt like we were cherished guests. Food excellent. A very enjoyable evening.
