Went there just for a drink: nice pub and good atmosphere. FYI: it's not the oldest pub in Ireland (the real one is in Athlone).

It's the oldest pub in Dublin. We tried the Beef stew. I had a great pint of Guinness. That was a great pint of Guinness. The staff are friendly and it's a great pub. We enjoyed our visit today. We will be back to try more.

Very nice pub. Check out the fireplace and relaxed vibe. Of course stew and a pint and get out of the busy street.

The most authentic Irish pub in the city center with live music every night at 21 h

This pub was established in 1198 and you could just feel the history oozing from the walls. Seems like a very popular place with a line outside for a table but not for just grabbing a pint at the bar, which is thankfully what we were there for. The vibe and decor were amazing, with a cozy feeling despite being fairly crowded at the time. Bartenders were friendly and efficient, even grabbing me a Murphy’s Stout from another bar area (a beer which is nearly impossible to find in the States). Can’t comment on the food but it is a place we’d definitely visit again.

To avoid waiting, we shared a table, which added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere! Live music: A fantastic ambiance with a singer and her musician performing right at a table in one of the rooms. Food: Delicious, hearty, and authentic. Service: The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient despite the crowds. It's lively and noisy, but that's exactly the kind of atmosphere you come here for! I absolutely loved it! A must-visit in Dublin to immerse yourself in true pub culture.
