Did not eat but beautiful pub would highly recommend, great location just before the madness of the city on Baggot street junction before the bridge. They have tall tables, regular tables, booths and an outdoor smoking area upstairs. Really friendly manager/owner/doorman,barmen they have very respectful and professional staff who really know their locals but are also very friendly to strangers 🥰Has a charming lil piece of history for any one who's interested, the have created a Brendan Behan snug/corner where you can sit & enjoy a drink where he used to💚🤍🧡💚🤍🧡*I would say very family friendly but maybe not on big match days😃

The pub offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I had an enjoyable experience. The service is consistently excellent, and everything feels well-organized and inviting.
A special mention goes to Lia, the waitress, who stands out for her kindness and professionalism. She is always friendly and provides service with a positive attitude that truly enhances the experience. I hope to be back soon.

I waited to write this review on this pub until I returned from my trip, so I could write my honest opinion.
I had never been to Dublin or Ireland and was excited to get right into the pub scene and having a good pint of Guiness. This pub was in the area that myself and my family stayed in and I really liked it. The decor was traditional. Had nice big booths, which accomodated me and the 4 family members. It wasn't too loud so, we could talk. The food was good, staff were very friendly and I can honestly say as a Guiness drinker, this was the BEST pint of Guiness I had in my 6 days in Ireland, and I had a pint in various pubs around Ireland and even at the Guiness Storehouse, St. Jame's Gate for the Guiness tour. Interestly enough my family members agreed, some of which had been to Ireland before and are not newbie's to Guiness or a good traditional pint.
This pint was creamy, and velvety smooth, with no after taste. It was so good I had another.
Purely speculation, but the only thing that I can say might have made this pint taste so much better compared to others, was that it was not ice cold, it seemed more at room temperature. When I asked around at other pubs, they said "that wouldn't make a difference". Although it seemed like it did?
If you want a good pint of Guiness & a meal, check out this pub.

Great pub in a prime location. Besides delicious Guinness, it's also perfect for watching sporting events like rugby on a big screen.
