The best restaurantsof irish

07/03/2026: We have eaten here several times and to be fair, the food was always good. Today was not good. My wife's main arrived, the brie was not cooked, it was taken back. My mains, the turkey was luke warm, the ham was all fat, there was a tea spoon of stuffing and the veg was cold - which we noted to the waiting staff, but I declined replacements as time was pushing on. By the time my wife's arrived - I was finished. What really annoyed us was at the time of paying -we were asked for our feedback and, upon relaying the above back "again" the guy behind the bar told us "that is the luck of the draw". Sorry, but when you are paying nearly €23 for s main dish, luck should not be involved. Not impressed.

06/03/2026: For a 3* Hotel, the service, food, and entertainment were exceptional. We traveled as a group of 29 adults and 3 children. We wished to tour historical local places of interest. Don, our Host, had everything organised for us. Definitely 5* HOSPITALITY and FOOD ♥️

11/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay. The food was delicious. Ye have the best staff I have ever come across. Everyone was so nice and professional. Lots to do and most importantly the kids enjoyed themselves. Between the petting farm, play park and pool the kids were well entertained. The bedroom we stayed in was on ground level. Very spacious but very warm at night. We would love to return some time and we will definitely be recommending this hotel to our family and friends.

10/03/2026: Absolutely fantastic Hotel! Stayed here 20 year's ago and it was top notch and my return visit was even better! I never ever drank pints in a Hotel bar that were nice until I stayed here and to see Murphys on draught was a huge surprise and they were absolutely savage, pure creamy and delicious! Beautiful food and fantastic staff who are on hand to help out plus loads of activities for kid's etc. I will be seeing you again soon! Thank you very much!

31/10/2025: We made a reservation as getting a dinner place in town can be difficult, and the fillet steak and lamb shank were both very good, as was the service we received from the time we walked into the restaurant. If you’re looking for quality meat dishes and a less busy atmosphere I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

They looked after us in the best possible way in a very difficult situation for us. 08/03/2026: Nice hotel, great breakfast, wonderful and attentive staff from the moment you walk in the door until checkout.  Beautiful park right next door. Our room faced an inner opening area with a view of the roof below.  While it is inevitable that some of the rooms need to face an area like this if they are going to have an opening window (or any window), the hotel management could take steps to improve it somewhat. Having supervised construction work for decades, I can see that the mechanical equipment on the roof below is of high quality, but the amount of dirt allowed to accumulate on it is not.  You wouldn't allow your lobby windows or front steps to be so filthy, so why this equipment in full view of hundreds of your guests every week? Clean this up and make this view at least a bit more presentable and people with those rooms won't feel quite so screwed by the high prices charged for them.

16/12/2025: I love eating Chowder soup here, it's the only place where they cook it really well, and their desserts melt in your mouth.

16/11/2025: Had lunch recently, it was my favourite place to eat for a while. Something has changed. Roast of the day -beef was very poor quality and overcooked, tasted like a rubber,vegetables not seasoned very bland,crème brûlée it used to be served with scoop of ice cream and biscuits, none of these is served now. For what you get it's hugely overpriced, luch for 19€ and a bit of custard 9€. Only big plus on decorations but unfortunately food was not worth the visit.

18/01/2026: Consistently delicious food, have been 4 times. Went once with a big group (8 adults, 6 kids) and everyone was happy with their meal. Good wheelchair facilities and baby changing area. Staff very helpful. Not left waiting long for food even when busy.

26/10/2025: This place was so good we went back a second time while in Galway. We had the Irish Rib Steak Sandwich both times and the taste and flavor were spot-on. Prices were reasonable. Only thing they didn’t have was music but the good and drinks make up for that.

17/12/2025: June 2025: A great traditional pub in Leenaun just south of the head of the fjiord; nice pint of Guinness and a half of the Zero too. The food was a tasty fish and chips and the goat cheese parcel with salad. If you are in a Motorhome or camper van you can park overnight opposite in the public carpark for free which comes with a great view over the waters of the fjord.

27/10/2025: A cozy pub/restaurant with a great view. The mussels were fresh and delicious, the seafood chowder creamy and rich, and the crispy buttermilk chicken goujons were also really good.

25/02/2026: I vist Dublin 3 or 4 times a year and always make time to go to the Brass Monkey, great food, service, staff and a relaxing atmosphere.

01/03/2026: Very good option for food. Since it was my first dinner in Ireland I acted like a tourist and ordered traditional fish and chips and it was really very good.

14/03/2026: Cannot fault Inside Out in any respect. Don't live too far away but it was our first time visiting and we will be back. Duck wings were a taste sensation!

07/03/2026: I'd appreciate it if someone could get back to me about the money I'm owed after being charged twice by accident four weeks ago. I rang three weeks when I discovered this, called in two weeks with evidence (voucher and charge on card) wherein I gathered i was speaking to the owner and a note was taken, rang again that weekend the following evening to query and left a voicemail last weekend. I was told it was a systems issue the 3rd time. No response from voicemail left (4th time following up) last weekend either. I like your restuarant but this is quite poor on yer side, hence why I'm leaving a review. The staff/owners have gotten on to me since were apoligetic about the wait/mix up and systems issue and it has been resolved. Thank you
