06/09/2026: Delicious, definitely recommend the tacos! Eggs Benedict were fine nothing special but it does the job. We got the food super quick,even before the drinks, it was surprising! View is super nice, chill atmosphere and the waiter we had was very nice and friendly. Highly recommend!

19/10/2026: One of the best restaurants in Sligo for food, service and a family friendly atmosphere. We always feel so welcomed as a family, the staff are so attentive and the food is always consistent and reasonably priced. We eat here as a family of 4 for the same price as a local takeaway. The staff are also genuinely happy and helpful and the turnover of staff seems very low as we always see the same friendly faces, which I think is always a good sign. Would highly recommend

03/10/2026: This is my favourite place in Adare never fails to dissapoint ,good quality food,try the goats cheese salad followed by the scallops amazing , friendly staff too.

03/10/2026: I dined here with my Mum and we were both very disappointed. My Mum had the Tomato and Basil soup which was like watered down bolognaise sauce and the single slice of soda bread was extremely salty and way too much Bread soda. Not edible and we wait it to the waiter. I had the Bruschetta which was ok. Nothing to write home about. We ordered 2 cheesecakes which were tiny served with cream that was fake. The pot of tea for two arrived with a large pot of water, two tiny cups and the teabags separately. Nowhere to put your used teabags but apart from that we could have done with a mug if you are going to serve the tea that way. I looked around at the other diners and everyone left half of their meals. The bathroom was filthy and had not been cleaned for a long time. Even the windowsills were filthy. I would not recommend the “Award Winning Restaurant “ !!

14/08/2026: Lovely restaurant. Has a very good local reputation for good food. Lovely ambience. However, consideration for a new customer arriving for the first time is really poor. There is no indication at the door whether one must wait to be seated or not, so the first option is just to stand in the doorway, in the way, and feeling foolish. As no staff member approaches, second option is to move to an empty table with menus on it. Catch the eye of a staff member who is not friendly, to be told snappily that the table is reserved. Nothing on the table to indicate that this is the case. Table with one chair in the middle of the floor and flow of traffic offered. No query as to whether this would suit. Sit for a moment, feel really uncomfortable so stand up and leave as requesting an alternative table does not seem like an option, due to the unfriedliness of the staff member. If one must wait to be seated, this needs to be indicated. If a table is reserved, this needs to be clearly indicated. Two easy fixes. As for the unfriendliness of staff... perhaps that person was just having a bad day. The next experience at The Lime Tree might be lovely.

28/07/2026: What a lovely little cafe. Decor really nice. I had a chicken Caesar wrap which was lovely. & a bowl of soup. My partner had a blt which he said was really nice & soup. When we arrived we were told the fryer was broken so no chips. Bit disappointed but the food was lovely so no big deal. I will be back to try the chips!! We also tried the rhubarb lemonade and omg it was gorgeous. So refreshing and had a very sweet taste!! We also had warm apple pie which was lovely. believe it had an outdoor area and is dog friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. Plenty on the menu for everyone. I thought the price was really good too for what we got.

07/09/2026: Really great pub and eatery. Very warm welcome on entering The Tara from all members of staff. Very impressed by the decor too. Food was fantastic, I had chicken wings and a beef and Guinness pie. Portions were huge. Id recommend this place for either food and drinks.

01/09/2026: A very nice restaurant with very friendly waitresses. The service was quite quick, the dishes simple but very good value for money. I really liked the homemade bread and the trout was good quality. Perhaps a shame that the sandwiches are served with crisps, but at that price it's acceptable! The vegetable soup was good. We were there during a podcast recording in Irish; it was nice to see all those people. They sell beautiful and inexpensive cards (€3). Great for supporting artists!

03/09/2026: The staff at the Herbert Park Hotel are exceptional, very professional, kind and friendly. We cannot speak highly enough about the staff and the excellent service they provide. We have stayed at this Hotel for the past 16 years and highly recommend the Hotel to other guests. Our sincere thanks to every member of staff for making us feel so welcome each year we visit the Hotel.

08/06/2026: This is an excellent 5 star hotel with large guest rooms and exemplary food. The evening choices were outstanding and breakfast buffet had many alternative choices. Service was all right too.

01/10/2026: One of the best if not the best sandwiches I’ve had in Dublin. Friendly staff and lovely outdoor seating ! Passing through on my bike on way to Dun Laoghaire and found this absolute gem. Wishing I lived nearby so this could be my local, definitely will be back !

27/10/2026: There's no better place to eat when visiting Louisburgh than the 74 for home-made food with a variety of lunches dinners and desserts too die for, banana chocolate and peanut butter cake is a winner along with bread and butter pudding and chocolate fudge gateaux! Edwina and the staff are so welcoming, friendly and generous, beautiful local crafts are available and a relaxing reading area with books to bring and take. We love it! 😍

14/10/2026: An impromptu stop for breakfast in the sun overlooking the bay – it was perfect! Welcoming waiters, hearty and rustic dishes. Very pleasant!

06/10/2026: We visited the Harbour Bar, in Rush for dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. All four of us started with the Seafood Chowder. The chowder is the best I have ever had. Seafood in the chowder is so plentiful that it nearly constitutes a meal in and of itself. Delicious. Two of us followed up the chowder with Corned Beef in Parsley sauce, Csbbage and Mash. Wow. It was very good but also very filling after the Chowder. The others had Mussels, they were also very tasty and Spicy Squid and Onion Rings. We sat in the lounge area and loved the atmosphere. I would highly recommend the Harbour Bar.

22/09/2026: Fantastic bar with great service and even better martinis. Came back for small plates dinner and sat at the lovely outdoor courtyard. A wonderful oasis in the middle of a vibrant city

21/09/2026: Things have changed unfortunately The cocktails we recieved had u huge singular ice cube which took up 90 percent of the glass so the drink was equivalent to a shot.Got the cheese board also ,it was anothing compared to what it used to be the quantity was a third the size it was last year but still the same price..Staff are great and very helpful, its always been a beautiful bar but I don't think I will get food or cocktails there again.
