04/04/2025: It was fantastic to have a dinner at Paddy the Farmer's, great vibes and music selection, the almon was juicy and cooked to perfection, thank you guys!

19/03/2025: Fab pub....First time in it on Friday...We'd just had a terrible experience in Crawfords and Co around the corner and the staff in paddy's were like a breath of fresh air....they we super accommodating on a very busy night. They were all really friendly and efficient....great live music on too....the food looks great, can't wait to get back to try that ....thanks for a great night guys...we'll be back soon.......I was back here again recently on St Patrick's day with 2 small kids. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Nothing seemed to phase them. They were all dressed up to celebrate. They had loads of entertainment on for kids and adults. We only happened upon it but we were delighted. Will be making a beeline for it next year. Thanks a mill guys. Oh and the food is always delicious.

08/04/2025: Chef Joseph served us the best two dishes we’ve had in all of Ireland. We sat at the chefs counter and watched as every dish was prepared and sent out to the tables; everything looked amazing. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough!

06/04/2025: This place is legit. The food is delicious and the staff are the best. Irish people are the nicest. My kids enjoyed the desert as well. Excellent management for keeping the food consistent as this is my second time here.

17/03/2025: I had high hopes for this restaurant, and the meal started off well. The fish soup was rich and flavorful, and the mackerel was fresh and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The main courses were disappointing—lacking the same care and quality as the starters. The scallop dish was over salted and lemon sole which was floured before cooking seemed to be cooked in burnt butter. There was very little choice for gluten-free diners, and to make matters worse, there were no gluten-free desserts on the menu at all. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and attentive, but sadly, that wasn’t enough to make up for the underwhelming meal. Overall, it was not an experience I would repeat.

09/03/2025: Was visiting Buncrana with family and went here for dinner. Would definitely recommend - they had great options for dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free) and the food was so tasty. Service was also great and very attentive. Would definitely recommend the ratatouille! Also very reasonably priced for the size of the portions.

12/02/2025: 8 of us ate here on Monday evening. Food was lovely. Staff attentive but so very very cold. Had to eat with coats on Maybe because it was a Monday night and not very busy but only seemed to be a small heater above door coming in and we were seated away from it Had an early bird menu on and food was reasonably priced Just a pity about the cold and I won’t book a Monday night again

17/03/2025: It is not a 5* hotel indeed. Rude bartender, loud HVAC, bad sound protection. Something that you cannot fix in 30 seconds.

02/04/2025: While Mary’s coffee shop was closed her take out was open, what a delightful lady,the kind of person that makes Irish hospitality what it is.She was chatty,helpful and superb baker and she filled my flask rather than a takeout disposal cup, a must stop in Ballycastle.

12/03/2025: We had an evening meal here. The services were excellent. A lot of salt / seasoning used on elements of food, particularly starter warm bread. Perhaps more noticeable as we do not use salt at home. Meals we had were excellent...., BUT we still can not accept or figure out why a steak attracts such a high supplementary charge almost everywhere in Ireland.. I just can not figure out or justify this practice. The garden room is lovely but was a tad cool to dine in (We're not heat fanatics ), We overheard others comment re this also. Perhaps a fire effect heater might help. A lovely dining experience and meal overall.

15/03/2025: The best staff of any bar in Waterford, India is a credit to the place. Would recommend to everyone and how busy it is is a credit to all of the staff.
