07/01/2026: Very disappointed with service, food quality and price. The standards have slipped drastically since I last visited. Paid €183 for 5 adults and 1 child, 3 starters 5 main courses and no desert. Food portions were small, overcooked and little flavour. Example of poor service; we were given a bunch of cutlery and told "that should be enough" and walked away!!! Looks like The Mills has lost its way from what it was and I will be checking for reviews before I return again.

28/12/2025: Had brunch and it was delicious! Staff was very friendly and the vibes were great and cozy! Make sure to stop inside the little store outside afterwards cute clothes and items!

14/12/2025: The food was delicious, the Chowder was one of the best I've ever had, the beef eye steak was amazing, everything was great, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic, there are TVs to watch the games and they have a terrace upstairs.

13/07/2025: I dunno what the heck is wrong with this place. I'm new to Cork, Clonakilty and Ireland in general and was denied entry simply because I was alone. Although I've never been in.... I'll certainly never be back. Head to GG's instead! These guys are funny as hell saying they were closing at 21:00. Lots of lads had said the "security" staff packing roofies. Didn't believe it until that night.

30/10/2025: We stayed two nights at Seaview Tavern during our Malin Head trip, and it was just perfect! The room was clean, cozy, and had a lovely sea view. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the bar downstairs had a great local vibe, we really enjoyed our pints there each evening. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and Mike, the owner, is simply amazing - always around for a chat and full of great local tips. A true Donegal gem with genuine Irish hospitality. Highly recommended whether you are visiting Malin Head or exploring the Wild Atlantic Way. We will definitely be back!
