17/06/2025: Had lunch wit my mum and daughter. All our food was lovely the smoothie are always so refreshing. Best bacon in a BLT so crispy. My mum loved the twist on a festive sandwich and my daughters pulled park was perfectly done. Hat's off to the chefs

11/08/2025: A wonderful place. Delicious food. Chicken burger, pancakes, and a bang bang wrap. We went late in the day, as they're open until 4 p.m. We got three free giant cookies when we left. Highly recommended. We'll gladly return.

14/08/2025: Great pub, with surprisingly great food and very friendly staff. We happened to be driving past and were seated immediately, even though it was very busy (seems to be a large family celebration). The fish we were served was delicious. Highly recommended and a little insider tip.

07/08/2025: Went in today for lunch.plenty specials on offer but we went for the Fish Pie and Lasagne.What can I say only our food was top notch.The Fish Pie was so generous in size and quality of fish within that I struggled.The Lasagne was equally a winner.Staff each and everyone of them were chatty helpful and lovely.Place is spotless .Won't be passing The Cove anytime we are in town .10/10 Honest Review.Keep the standard up Lads.on a winner.

PS. The vegetarian selection is also very respectable.
P.S. The fries, however, could be improved by using hand-cut ones, but that's the only flaw I don't feel like lowering the review for.

10/08/2025: We stayed here for two nights as a family, in two rooms. The rooms were immaculate, very large, bright and comfortable. The rooms were quiet and look out onto a quiet street. There is no parking, but plenty of cheap pay and display parking very nearby so this is not an issue.
The service and staff was impeccable, warm, friendly and really helpful.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice. We also ate in the restaurant one evening and enjoyed a tapas feast, beautiful fresh food with lovely flavours. We would highly recommend a stay here, or a visit to the restaurant.

21/08/2025: Went for sunday lunch here, absolutely lovely place very busy when we arrived so service was a little slow, but over all the food was very good! the sunday roast was excellent, and staff were very courteous, there is a Lovely beer garden as well! Very nice experience.
