The Blue Door in Adare

Very disappointed with lunch. Menu was limited. I had Duck on colcannon. Nothing else served to enhance the meal. Duck was served on bed of colcannon. Colcannon was not hot. Duck lacked flavour. There was a thick heavy sauce served with Duck. Sauce did not enhance the Duck in any way. I was treating family members who were visiting me to lunch so it was very disappointing Desserts and coffee were fine . The young man who served us was very professional .

Great restaurant - fabulous ambiance and attention to detail

Charming restaurant with great food, friendly caring, accommodating staff and dog friendly too. Stopped here on trip from Kerry and my large dog was welcomed and we’d a quiet corner to enjoy a beautiful goats cheese salad and cottage pie. They even brought a water bowl straight away for the pooch who lapped it up!

Had lunch there today. Best burger I've had in months. Delicious! We will be back. ☺️

Probably one of the best fish and chips I've had. Staff were very friendly and service was great. Highly recommend!
