Aunty Lena's in Adare

I absolutely loved this place. Highly recommend.

We only had an hour to eat and we made it. The waiter was kind and with a sense of humour. We ordered a classic - fiśh&chips and pea puree. Fries and peas were OK, but the fish left a lot to be desired. The haddock is a very tasty fish, but surrounded by such armored breadcrumbs, it could not be cut. Aunty Lena must have had very strong teeth.

Great pub in the beautiful city of Adare. Food is excellent but book in advance or you could not get in. Every time I go to Adare I have to stop by. Great environment and staff is usually very nice and helpful.

We stopped in for a quick lunch on our short stop in Adare. The location was great and we received fast, friendly service. I got the cottage pie, which was the best cottage pie I had in Ireland. Amazing comfort food with a real home cooked taste! The atmosphere was cozy.

On a business trip in the lovely town of Adere. Popped in for a bite to eat - Brisket burger and chips with a mandatory Guinness. Live music, good vibe and some Irish dancing to boot. And the 5th 🌟 super atmosphere 👌🏼

Stopped in here a couple times for lunch and the food is always top tier as is the service! I love the buttermilk chicken goujons and their buffalo chicken wings are amazing! Must stop in and have dinner soon!

Lovely place for beautiful food

Pros: Location. Pleasant staff. Cons: Drab and over-salted lamb stew. Very loud wedding party and we (couple) were placed next to a boisterous table without warning. Please warn guests ahead of time (when making reservations) and try to better accommodate them! Horrible experience. Slow service (but to be expected on this occasion). PS: Adare is utterly spoilt by endless traffic cutting right through the centre of the village. And there is very little of touristic interest. I won’t be back.

Food was ok only got a single slice of bread with my trio of fish felt a bit minimalistic
