Dunraven Arms in Adare

Lovely hotel but poor service particularly in the bar area. There were 6 customers in the bar and 7 bar staff and yet I struggled to get the attention of any of the staff, poorly trained. The hotel and location is great and the breakfast is excellent with great service.

Stayed here for a 2night B&B with dinner break recently. The hotel and staff were lovely and the breakfast and dinner were outstanding. The buffet Breakfast is so much more than the “full Irish”, lots of options and little extras. It was really busy on Sunday morning but everything was replenished generously and quickly when it ran out. Dinner in the restaurant was top notch, the standard of food, presentation and service was similar to what you would experience in a high-end restaurant. I had booked a massage in advance in the Spa with Fiona and she was amazing. Thank you for a great stay. Great value too. We will be back.

My sister and I had a wonderful experience in the Dunraven arms. It is a charming old world Hotel , yet it is very comfortable and warm. The Dinner was delicious and served in a timely manner, giving us plenty of time to catch up. Breakfast was excellent too. All the staff were extremely pleasant, despite being very busy. I was given an upgrade on asking when I arrived and got the pleasant surprise of not being charged for it.

Had business down that way and had to stay overnight. Great comfortable stay. Only stayed one night great big room and the Guinness was really nice at the bar. Very reasonably priced for the twin room and breakfast. Will go back again.

Rooms are spacious and well furnished but the guest facilities are poor. Bar area is tiny and not very comfortable. Restaurant not really big enough, particularly at breakfast. Didn't use the pool. Food in Restaurant was ok but very limited menu. Breakfast was very stodgy. Bacon had rind on...It's apparently won awards for Breakfast but I'd give it 3/5. Ireland not known for it's food though.

Booked a double room when arrived got up grade 2 spotless suite top class all staff could not do enough for us food is top quality very relaxing grounds more than well looked after we are back 4 a another stay just as good

This Hotel I think really does justice to quality. Every aspect of my experience here was flawless. Staff were excellent, service was outstanding, the room is spotlessly clean. I would love to return here again. My experience in their restaurant , The Maigue Restaurant was top notch. It’s fine dining, extremely well executed. There is two things need to be addressed however they in no way impact my overall amazing experience here. 1. The trouser press in the room requires updating. 2. Some slippers in the room would be a nice touch.

Wonderful stay. Felt a little let down due to no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Any room I've ever stayed in has these facilities and even an odd cookie thrown in. Seemed a little mean. It's a pity to have to take away a star because of such a simple thing.
