Monday afternoon carpark full but only waited 5 mins for a table very efficient service constant flow of food coming from the kitchen great place to bring the kids or a family gathering good choice of food very generous size portion at very reasonable prices

Lovely place with delicious food. We stopped here for lunch during a trip and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The cod with chips was delicios and the soup is great. Loved it. Saved just in case I happen to come back to this part of Ireland.

Was there today with a good freind David Mgowan. He said we head to this place. The food is top class. The staff very friendly and the place was hopping. Great to see it also.

24/02/2026: Overall amazing! Keeran, the host is super nice and even gave us a lift to the supermarket in his car. We got a free upgrade to the big apartment which was not only really nice and clean, but had very comfortable beds and a huge kitchen with many appliances. We loved it! Thank you!

23/02/2026: One of my favourite cafés in Kilkenny! The atmosphere at The Lime Tree Café is always so lovely, and you’re greeted by the most welcoming, kind staff. They’re attentive, always smiling, and make you feel right at home. The food is consistently delicious, with generous portions, and even the coffee and hot drinks are top notch. Everything about this place just makes you want to keep coming back. Highly recommend if you haven’t been yet! Run by lovely people who clearly care about every guest!
