Mary Barry's Restaurant in

Mary Barry's is possibly the best restaurant in all of Ireland. The seafood is unbelievably tasty and the portions are very generous. They have a big parking lot which is unfortunately still filled up during busy times. It's understandable why this place is usually booked once you've tasted the seafood. The staff is friendly and attentive. The selection of food is very large, and the same goes for drinks. I've visited many times and tried many different items. My personal recommendations are the crab claws and the scampi. I recently had their steak which unfortunately was not to my taste, but this was the first time I didn't love something from their menu. I still enjoyed it nonetheless it was just not as good as the seafood. They also have a great selection of desserts. If you can, they are absolutely worth ordering. The banoffee is excellent, so is the apple pie, profiteroles and the chocolate cake. The toilets are clean and accessible. The prices are not cheap. You get what you pay for, and it really is worth it if you can afford it. Overall an absolutely fantastic restaurant and a must visit if you are in the area.

I went to Mary Barry's with 4 of my friends and we had a really nice meal. There was a vegan section in the menu that had a selection of options. I got the flat bread starter and a stir fry main. So fresh and delicious and they both came with so many vegetables. I'm used to stir fries being mostly onions and a few peppers in pubs so I was so pleasantly surprised! I was the only vegan in the group and my friends got muscles and ribs among other things and everyone really enjoyed their meals. They also have a complimentary mini bus to local accommodation. Really nice guiness too and the staff were lovely! Ticked every box, we will definitely be back!

Excellent service and excellent atmosphere. Food was absolutely amazing. Could not find fault with anything.

Had heard a lot about this place, but I was a bit disappointed. We had chowder, which was weirdly sweet. The seafood platter was expensive but had a huge variety of fish. I would suggest they include an option of a small size for less money & maybe ask diners if there are any fish they don't eat. The service was good but a bit disorganised at times. The place was very busy on a Tuesday evening. It's very nicely decorated. Toilets are clean. There's plenty of free parking.
