15/05/2025: We got lost and stumbled across this gold mine. Absolutely fantastic!! Sean and Fiona are the funniest and friendliest couple in Ireland. If you're lucky, Jim (a local gentleman) will be at the bar. Absolutely the best pub in all of Ireland.

29/05/2025: Great ambiance. It was a good place to stop for a pint on our walk back to the hotel. The food must be good as there were large groups of people lined up for seats to get food.
29/05/2025: Oldest Bar in town! Must go every time we visit Dublin for short break . Like the feeling, friendly servicing , even prices a bit different with other Bar , but just felt good . Cheers 🍻

15/05/2025: Stopped off here for lunch and had the soup combi. It was absolutely delicious. We had the leak and potato soup with a cheese and ham sandwich ( opted not to have a toastie). The soup was hot and delicious and the sandwich was so fresh with plenty of filling.
The coffee was great as well
07/05/2025: It was suggested by staff at Information Centre to have a meal and coffee at Christy's.
We were served by Aisling who helped us set up table outside then explained what a Boxty was and that we should try one. I purchased the Lunchtime Boxty and it has to be one of the best meals I have had. The coffee was excellent as well.
Service was excellent and Hugh explaining the best way to get to Clifden topped the whole experience off.
Fantastic lunch and a great experience

01/06/2025: We had a wonderful experience at P.F McCarthy’s Pub & Restaurant, as a family of four. The staff were kind and friendly, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. Everything ran smoothly, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with generous portions. We had the Half roast duck (€21.00) and the Lamb burger (€17.00). Reasonable prices for everything. The atmosphere was pleasant—not too loud—and the bathroom, tables, and chairs were clean. We all enjoyed our meals and had a really nice afternoon together. Definitely a place we’d return to.
25/05/2025: We had our wedding day 2 at PFs a few weeks ago and Meg did a great job looking after us. We had the beer garden all to ourselves which comfortably fit our crowd of 60-70. We ordered from the sharing boards, which were very tasty and generously portioned! Finally, we had Dan Sweeney belting out the tunes for us providing a great atmosphere. Great pub and great service!

Gran servicio y un buen ambiente. Entre los 5 tuvimos pescado con papas fritas, lasaña, goujones de pollo, la hamburguesa de ternera y carne asada y todos estaban más que contentos. Delicioso pescado fresco de Kenmare Bay btw. Porciones de tamaño decente, tuberĂa caliente y sabrosa. .
Bonito lugar, sin duda volveremos.

10/05/2025: Stopped by Harkin’s just after finishing the Guinness Storehouse tour – perfect location, only a short walk away. Great spot to enjoy a fresh pint of Guinness and grab a bite. I had the Harkin’s chicken tenders and they were really tasty. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service – definitely a solid choice if you’re in the area!

02/06/2025: We stayed across the road from weird so we ate lunch and dinner here. Every meal was 10 out of 10. The steak was perfectly cooked, the chicken was beautiful, wings fab, sea food chowder amazing to the home baked bread and all the home made deserts were all delicious. Would highly recommend Weirs. The service was quick and all the staff so friendly. A gem in a small village.

09/05/2025: Me and a few lads went into McMahons for some breakfast and Ian sorted us out. He was a great chap, really funny, looked after us well and did a crazy trick with my lucozade glass when he was serving it. Absolutely unreal, definitely be back đź’Şđź’Ş
04/05/2025: Had a surprise 30th Birthday for my Husband in McMahons and I couldn’t recommend here enough! The staff were so helpful from beginning to end, they helped to decorate the area and made the whole process so easy! The food platters were absolutely to die for as well and everyone complemented the food and atmosphere. Great live music on also. If you are celebrating any occasion I definitely recommend McMahons! Thanks again.
