23/02/2025: Brilliant pub, great music from 4 till close . Brilliant atmosphere. And a big shout out to Charlie the barman, hes an absolute gem, an asset to any business. Hope to be back in kilkenny very soon.

20/01/2025: We stumbled upon this cozy and friendly bar our first night in Ireland. We are American and were looking for a place to watch the American Football game. This bar had it on the TV towards the back. Although I can't speak to the food we did have some wonderful drinks and entertainment. We ordered a smith, a Guiness and plenty of Jameson gingers. All the drinks were great, but what made the experience was the live entertainment and the patrons of this bar. The patrons seemed to consist of many regulars or friends of the regulars. We met Charlie the bartender who was so kind to everyone including us. He took the time to talk to me about our trip and showed sympathy about the current political climate in the US. We also met other travelers and now have new friends. I recommend this bar if you are passing through Kilkenny and I hope to go back one day.

18/03/2025: Not actually been in for drinks ect,but the food is delicious. I know a single man who gets a proper meal to take away . He says it is delicious, I have since seen several going out with their dinners. The staff were friendly when I collected one for him once.

10/03/2025: Same problem as always for me. We ordered fish and chips (which was nice) but when I saw what everyone one else had from their menu I should have ordered that instead. The other customers food looked lovely; I was jealous. The place is full of locals, visitors, farmers and workers from all around the area enjoying a great reasonabley priced meal. Must pop in again when passing through.

25/03/2025: John, Lorna and the staff were great and very accommodating throughout the weekend, thank you! Highly recommend and will definitely be back the next time I’m a down.

17/03/2025: Most delish prawn starter and a devine steak sandwich. Beer was perfect temperature, and the house wine was perfect for the occasion. Definitely be back for more. Oh yes the staff was very nice and most welcoming smiles.

02/04/2025: Visited this place last weekend ..the best accommodation food and drink .. top class .. great atmosphere and live music every weekend 👌 staff were brilliant and very friendly .highly recommend this place for a weekend lovely little village by the river Shannon

22/02/2025: Just had the most delicious gluten free meal in Jennys Kitchen. Would highly recommend. We left with a goodie box of 7 different Gluten Free cakes for just €22. Incredible value for money. Thanks guys. We will be back.

06/04/2025: Great food, we shared a few starters. Fish and seafood was very fresh!

06/04/2025: We had an great time, the staff were lovely and accommodating. As for the food, we order the seafood chowder ( with side dishes ) and the grilled salmon - it was divine! Could not have asked for better meals! Finished off with the desert combo. Everyone who does not come here misses out. Will definitely be back!🫶

05/04/2025: We just had dinner there... first of all our booked table was at the entrance of the toilet.. we asked for an other table and they were very accommodating. We got a nicer table... the main course was nice. Panfried hake. But the dessert.... a week before we stopped here for coffee and cake and everything was delicious. This time I ordered the same dessert.... it did not even look like what we got previously... I ordered fresh fruit roulade. The week before it was homemade, full of flavour, melting in the mouth. Tonight it was 2 cheap meringue nests sticked together with a bit of flavourless cream and strawberry from lidl... when I complained about it at the till, they still made me pay for it.

25/03/2025: Great restaurant that really stands out with its exceptional decor. There are small seating areas for about 2-8 people where you can sit comfortably. The food was also really tasty and the staff was very friendly and accommodating!

02/04/2025: Amazing little secret in Bandon. Food is incredible made to order. Staff very professional and friendly. Loved the layout inside, tables not up on top of each other. Worth a visit for anyone visiting 😊

30/03/2025: We went here to celebrate my friend's Birthday party. We were served by a lovely young man who really made it a great experience overall. Food reasonably priced and well portioned. Highly recommend if you are in waterford for a bite to eat or even a private function

06/04/2025: Always super, and the staff there, even under the pressure they are sometimes, are so nice and friendly, food is excellent, and from order to being in front of you is faster than McD's for regular food..... Absolutely my only place to go in Dungarvan if I just want a regular meal, at excellent prices 100% no beating it.👍🏻

17/03/2025: The hotel is very nice. Spacious and clean room, nice color combinations Friendly staff, there is a lift, a restaurant and a large free parking lot. We stayed 3 days really pleasantly

03/02/2025: Played this fab course for the first time this weekend. Every hole is unique. The views are amazing. Certainly a challenge. Called into the clubhouse for a pint and a bowl of soup after and I must say the staff in the bar and indeed the Pro Shop were very welcoming and so friendly. Will definitely be back to play one of the other courses.
