15/10/2025: We ate there on the recommendation of some travel companions. It was a great choice. The waiter was charming and very attentive. We ordered "Batterer fresh cod & chips" and "Fried squid," both delicious. We had "Killarney Devils Helles" beer because it's from there, and it was also very good. Recommended if you're on vacation in Ireland and pass through Killarney.

08/10/2025: Quinlan's Seafood Bar (Killarney) – 5 ⭐️ out of 5 Great, rustic seafood restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and a noticeably relaxed vibe. The food was excellent – ​​fresh fish, perfectly prepared, with a full flavor. The service was friendly, attentive, and pleasantly unobtrusive. An honest, authentic, no-nonsense place where quality and comfort are paramount. A particularly nice touch: Our lovely neighbor from Canada 🇨🇦 paid for the entire evening on our honeymoon, thank you so much – an unforgettable moment that perfectly suited this wonderful place. A well-deserved 5 stars!

21/08/2025: Came with a friend and we shared 4 different starters all fab . Duck confit , barata salad and calamar all Excellent . Of course the famous chicken wings . Atmosphere lovely . Staff attentive but no in your face . Had a lovely evening .

20/08/2025: Food has improved a lot, very enjoyable. Front of house staff extremely welcoming. Unfortunately our particular waitress was very unfriendly, and seemed to forget about us after mains so we had to go find someone to get dessert menus after waiting a long time. The bill had extra items on it which had to be amended.

05/10/2025: Stopped in on a roadtrip with family, good pint of Guinness and a great steak with peppercorn sauce - service was very warm, and got the recommendation to head over to the Killarney Grand for a fun night of love music!

20/09/2025: Unfortunately not the experience we were after from a self proclaimed Michelin guide restaurant The food isn't bad and the food concept is interesting and commendable Staff was polite Sadly the service wasn't up to standards. We ordered two starters plus bread (so three appetizer orders) and one of the two starters was missed. It took about 50' to get served the mains after the starters so by that time we weren't hungry anymore We ordered two mains and one side to share (potatoes) and we were brought cabbage instead Essentially, if waiters are unable to remember simple orders (we didn't make any special requests) I'm unsure why they don't write things down but instead try to memorise At the end we had to ask three different waiters to finally get brought the bill €130 for two people, a bit too much... Considering we took one beer each to drink, one side to share (wrong) and one slice of cheesecake to share (€12, served in a little jar and was essentially some whipped cream with a layer of jam on top) The restaurant has potential, but currently unexploited. Goes without saying that as of now I wouldn't recommend

10/10/2025: Lovely Hotel. Stayed for 1 night close to town centre. Staff & location 5*. Didn't eat in restaurant so can't comment. Overall class Hotel.

14/08/2025: I had a terrible nights sleep due to the sound of slamming bedroom doors in the corridor from 2 am to 4am.

07/02/2025: Pedí el "Pastel de los Pastores" y estaba extremadamente decepcionado. Demasiado ajo en polvo y dudoso "puré de patatas". Muy seco a pesar de añadir una jarra de "jus". Me fui 1/2. Si un restaurante tiene una cocina abierta, entonces los chefs al menos deben actuar profesionalmente. Fui testigo de tantas infracciones HACCP que fue aterrador. Picando comida y comiendo sin lavarse las manos. Rascarse el cabello sin lavarse las manos.

21/09/2025: every time my family go to cavan we always go to dinner here!! the staff are so lovely and attentive and we’ve never had any problems with our food. They also offer gluten free and can cater to other options. Definitely recommend this place!! :)

20/10/2025: The room was advertised as having a king bed, but it absolutely was NOT a king bed. My partner and I could barely fit in the "king" bed we were given. Needless to say we did not sleep well. Beware of false advertising. Also, there was no shelf in the shower for personal items such as bar soap and razors, which is pretty inconvenient.

20/09/2025: The pub is a wonderful local spot. Very friendly people and the proprietor , Joe, is very charming. The service was the best we've had yet, in a week in Ireland. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the halibut special and my wife had the organic chicken. Both well presented and tasted amazing. An absolute must stop for anyone looking for a great meal and a lovely pint.

13/09/2025: A great pub experience! If you're looking for a proper Irish pub experience, look no further than The Whiskey Still. We stopped in for some classics—the fish and chips and a pint of Guinness—and everything was fantastic. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect. The atmosphere was exactly what you want from a local pub, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

17/09/2025: I stayed & ate in Silken Thomas last two nights. Accomodation, food, service & atmosphere was exceptional! From the moment I walked in the door, the staff were friendly & welcoming. Would highly recommend for a night away or a bite to eat. Thanks for the wonderful Kildare hospitality!

14/09/2025: Nice place to stay. We weren’t lucky to have any nice view from our window, and fans located just under our window outside building were little bit noisy. Other than that very nice spot. Definitely will come back
