02/03/2026: We had booked a table for half 7 on a very rainy, miserable rugby Saturday night. When we got to Edenderry we realised that we would never get a seat in a pub to chat so called the restaurant and asked if we could have a drink there before we ate. We were told that it was absolutely no problem at all and rocked up to a private little area, the heat was put on and our wet coats were taken and hung up. What followed was a really, really lovely meal for 4 of us, with great fresh food and fabulous service. This was our first visit to Pauline's and we will definitely be back again. Thank you for a lovely evening, your staff were just gorgeous and your food was delicious - sorry for being the last ones to leave!!

30/12/2025: Was ignored by staff when we went into their restaurant. Seated ourselves after being ignored after waiting for a few minutes for a table. Think everyone was local and got the impression we weren’t welcome by staff. Took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge us and bring a menu despite 3 staff members being there with a half empty restaurant. Once we finished food (19 euro for a burger with a soggy bun that was straight out of the packet and cold lettuce, raw onion and slice of tomato) we went to the bar to pay the bill. There was a bartender (dark curly hair with facial hair- he was the primary staff member that seemed to completely ignore us when we were just trying to give you some business) who was folding cutlery into napkins who we waited for him to acknowledge us but he didn’t so after an awkward minute of standing there we asked him could we pay the bill he said “I’ll be with you in a second”. He went to give the cutlery to a table and then walked off- his colleague came through by chance and took payment. Very strange atmosphere due to staff. Ate and left promptly.

03/11/2025: We had the Chef’s Menu at Craft and it was absolutely outstanding – incredible value at €39 for the quality and amount of food. You get to taste everything, and honestly, we couldn’t pick a favourite starter because they were all so good. We had the pork chop main - so good and as always the roast potatoes were unreal! From the brown bread right through to dessert, every dish was delicious. We’re so lucky to have this place in Harold’s Cross – can’t recommend it enough! The service deserves a mention too - really lovely atmosphere. Well done to all at Craft. We will be back soon.

15/12/2025: This place is awful. The food is terrible, service is worse and it's expensive. We ordered the burger and vol au vent and they were horrible. The salads are bland and disgusting. The server was rude, clueles and didn't even know what lager beer was, so we drank water. Please avoid this place. It was just horrible. I made sure to tell our tour guide never to recommend this place again. In fact, don't bother going to Kilkenny at all. It's not worth it.

The service is 5star and they are so accommodating for allergies, with a cheese allergy they did a whole separate course for us instead of the cheese course so we wouldn't be left out. The food so top quality and everything on the plate is there for a reason, simply delicious!!! Also the wine sommelier on hand to guide you is such a beautiful touch.

02/03/2026: We use to go to this place with pleasure until yesterday 🫣 service was terrible, wrong organization, first the girl show us the table, than the manager came to tell us that’s not the table for us, he checked the computer and he showed us the same table ( the place was more than half empty) I forgot to mention we’re with a baby 🫣 No one came to take our order for more than 15 minutes 🫣 Food was great like usual, they have lovely kitchen with bad stuff in front 🫣 At the end we waited to pay again for a good bit 🫣

29/12/2025: We had a lovely dining experience from start to finish. The food is amazing, the flavours and taste we were delighted. Everything was delicious and so was the wine. The staff were also very approachable and efficient, we actually didn't have a reservation and I know this place books out so I was delighted when we thought there would be no chance of getting a table and there was. I am excited also as Gary the chef came out and told me how to make the soup, such hearty warming foods and I'm going to try mimic it now myself. no thickening agency's or any flour added to soup so I was even further pleased. Im going to try the soup for my children as I believe they will devour it as we did our meal in the boathouse last night. Thank you all.

I almost asked the lady if she would adopt me, she was that sweet. 🤣The chicken wings were absolutely delicious, I almost ate my fingers along with them.
