07/08/2025: we had a great meal here. If Paul Muldoon was a great chef he might have been involved in my hake as well as our beef shin croquette starter. But Seamus Heaney might have had more to do with my wife鈥檚 spring lamb which was the star of the meal. Well mannered free verse plates.

11/08/2025: We've been in Ireland for seven days, and it was the best meal yet. After a good walk, we found this place a bit out of the city center, and it was a great choice. The mussels were spectacular, and the other dishes were also very good. Highly recommended if you're passing through Howth.

1st time in we had the Beef Brisket Bnedict from Brunch menu and it was beautiful!!
Second time, I got the fish and chips and my partner got the eggs bnedict, which is now his favourite in town! :)
Probably our must to go place when in Howth!

Update: came back to the place a few times after the 1st visit. Tbh whenever I go to Howth I end up getting food there. Food and service always wonderful.
Last visit took my parents visiting me all the way from Brazil and they also enjoyed the food.

20/08/2025: Food, service & setting were all top notch. For a group of 11, we were seated upstairs in our own room which was perfect. Our total bill came to just over 900e. Everyone was delighted with their food & the wine was tasty too. The downstairs seems to seat smaller groups but upstairs is perfect for a group of 10-12.

Bite 1!!! My wife鈥檚 duck was also nice and arrived with my sandwich so we could eat together. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Waterford.

The beer battered fish was super crispy and delicious! Paired well with a Guinness too.

12/08/2025: We had lunch a few days ago after touring the promontory from Sutton. We ate wonderfully; I had oysters and a typical seafood dish. My partner ordered fish and chips, and the chips were spectacular.
