31/12/2025: Excellent both times I ate here this week. Delicious breakfast full Irish with a huge pot of tea and great service. Friendly staff. I had the fish and chips also another day off the lunch menu. Everything very reasonably priced and delicious. Thanks. Wish I lived closer to visit again.

03/03/2026: We were passing by on Sunday the 1st of March 2026. Great seating and service and not overpriced. Table of 16 full breakfast and chips all round coffee teas had a great time very good and fast service 👌 the bike meet was a nice touch and they all were nice to talk to. Made my day ❤️ 💕 ♥️ and extra treat was the ice cream shop 😋 😍 😀

26/02/2026: Perfect. Breakfast was so fast and delicious and an excellent price. Staff were so friendly and had such attention to detail. Very clean and welcoming. 10/10 thank you for a lovely breakfast before a long drive home 💕 GF options and Herbal teas. Coffee was delicious. Bacon was so thick 🤤 parking easy and convenient. There's enclosed outdoor space to sit too if you should so wish. I'm sure it's lovely in summer. It was moderately busy when we were there and classic fm was playing so it was really nice and calm.

20/12/2025: Sometimes when I'm taking public transport between Limerick and Kilkenny, the bus is late arriving into clonmel; meaning id have to wait around town for a few hours. Usually I would be mad about this, but having an excuse to visit this café always almost leaves me excited to miss my bus

07/01/2026: Had lunch yesterday food was lovely couldnt fault. Service VERY slow staff seemed distracted wasnt overly busy had to request repeatedly for water. Bathrooms used to be kept lovely and clean with a extra touch, now they have a strong smell of urine. Seems like it has become ran down since we last visited. Disappointing

15/02/2026: This pub, similar to the classic and well-known Temple Bar, boasts excellent live music, featuring modern songs adapted to their own style. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. It's great on Fridays if you arrive early, but far too crowded on Saturday nights. Beers are €10, and the price of the "baby Guinness" shots is particularly noteworthy; they're simply Tia Maria or a similar liqueur with Baileys, also €10 each.

18/12/2025: Our Retirement Group (32 people attended) had our Christmas Lunch Party here and we had a great time. Manager Claire and all the staff were very accommodating in every possible way, from the moment we booked the party. The room upstairs was beautifully decorated, the room was lovely and warm, the set menu choices (every course had two choices) was delicious and festive. The food was delicious. All the staff were very kind, patient and helpful. They truly went out of their way to give us a very special and enjoyable Christmas celebration. All our members were extremely positive in their reviews. I highly recommend the Lakeside Manor for an event like this.
