08/10/2026: My very first meal in Dublin, and it was great. I had a really nice clam chowder and a lamb stew. Just loved the food there. The portions were huge and the staff very friendly. It was pretty empty when I visited the place but I think it’s because it wasn’t dinner time yet. I really can recommend this nice place

09/08/2026: Food was very good. Table service was good (I wouldnt say very friendly but good) and food was served in a good time. The atmosphere was a bit strange, hard to pinpoint, but the gentleman who I assume was the owner seemed a bit worked up and was rushing around the place giving orders, which I found a bit annoying. Overall good experience.

15/10/2026: Dropped into this pub on a Saturday afternoon and the pub was packed.Punters having a drink and watching sports, and others having food abd drinks.The Guinness was good ,and was not too expiencive.Thers was a great athomsphere and lots of seating.The staff were friendly and efficient.

18/10/2026: Highly recommend this lovely little cottage restaurant. The food is beautiful, delicious and good portion. Service is excellent!!! The menu is a unique mix of authentic Malaysian / Asian cuisine plus Irish / European cuisine. Very good value for money as this is a great culinary experience of top notch quality, creativity and service We absolutely loved our Sunday lunch here and would definitely come again.

24/10/2026: Absolutely amazing food and drinks! When someone says they're going to Galway and they ask you for a recommendation... THIS is the place. This is not a pub with pub food (as much as I love that vibe). This is real food. We had the lamb and the duck. They were so delicious, I haven't even left the restaurant yet and I'm writing this review. The bar is well decorated with a fun vibe without being too flashy. Good music. Excellent selection of spirits. Fun and friendly bartenders. Just check them out. If you're disappointed... It's probably you.

24/09/2026: An incredible, unforgettable meal at Aniar! We chose Aniar to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was exceptionally well spent. The food was outstanding from beginning to end. The chef is truly top-notch and extremely well regarded in Galway. We had even heard chefs from other Michelin-starred restaurants speak very highly of him, so we came in with high expectations,and the experience absolutely lived up to them. The highlight of the evening, beyond the incredible food, was when the chef personally invited us into the kitchen to take a photo with him. That was such an unexpected and thoughtful moment, especially on my husband’s birthday, and it made an already wonderful evening even more memorable. Exceptional food, a truly talented chef, and an experience we will remember for a long time. Aniar was the perfect choice for such a special celebration.
