The Brazen Head

20/10/2024: This is a historic place as the oldest pub still operating in Dublin. Go for a pint, not for the food. The food is horridness. I had the cabbage with bacon. The bacon is so salty that there should be a warning on the menu for folks with cardiac insufficiency.
17/10/2024: The Brazen Head pub in Dublin carries a weighty reputation that in reality can only reflect its age. I hate to cast aspersions on it - and Iβm not going to - but itβs nothing special however it is worth going to for no other reason than its value for money.

21/10/2024: Superb Irish pub, home cooking but excellent. I highly recommend
15/10/2024: Ate here 3 out of the 4 nights I stayed in Castlemaine, while I explored the Dingle Peninsula. I ate at a very "well-known" fish and chips place in Dingle, and they didn't stand a chance in comparison with the fish and chips at The Anvil. Well done π βοΈ π.

The cocktails here are so good and delicious. I really want to go back there again. And the waitresses are so helpful. If you guys open late, I'll be the one to taste every cocktail until closing time! π

25/09/2024: A cute little bakery with delicious home-baked delicacies. We ordered apple pie and a chocolate cake. Both were super tasty. For our way home we took a chocolate cookie with us, which was also incredibly tasty.
Mary is very nice, a warm welcome as soon as you enter the shop.
Clear recommendation to anyone visiting Ballycastle.

Very friendly staff.
Fantastic food, the best during our 2 1/2 week tour of Ireland (with many good restaurants visited).
Prices correspond to the level (two people, starter/main/dessert, wine, beer, various non-alcoholic drinks approx. 100 euros)

27/10/2024: We held a private function in their room off the main bar. A lovely cosy room that could be used to host so many occasions. Room was clean. Food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We would highly recommend this hidden treasure for any function.

09/10/2024: Had a meal with you on 16l09/2024 and it was disgusting. On waiting for our meal could see the chef, no uniform putting cooked chips into containers with no gloves then rubbing his forehead. Waiting staff werent engaging with the customers or just couldnt be bothered. They got some of the orders wrong as well. Matts is expensive so it would be better. I emailed you privately as I don't like to give a negative review. Never got an adequate response. Won't be back in a hurry
