The Schooner in Ballycotton

A very reasonable price for the summer season (aug 26). Walk to pier, cliff and other pubs and restaurants. Great location to explore cliff walk and I used as a base night before visiting the local cooking school. Breakfast to order and options for all. I spent an hour in the bar the night before and there was a local atmosphere, friendly staff and a card game ongoing. Good Murphy⁩s and a few interesting whiskeys from middleton. Did not have dinner there on this occasion due to other commitments.

The first fish and chips ive ever had. Amazing looking restaurant with great staff, pretty large portions. Recommend it. 50e for 3 people

Amazing scampi, the best I ever had in Irlanda so far.

Stumbled over here spontaneously while vacationing, finding the freshest and most delicious fish and chips. Had a memorable chat with some local regulars that capped off our trip perfectly.

Had a fantastic stay in Ballycotton at the Schooner bar, as fantastic as the food, the accomodation, and the setting were, it was the staff that make this pub the ideal stay for the village. Incredibly welcoming, fantastic for a chat, and incredibly kind in sorting out postage of left items when we stupidly left something behind. Fantastic customer service, thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay.

Excellent steak and apple crumble!!

Albeit our (2) stay was only for one night for a wedding hosted not far from Ballycotton we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cool staff. Cool bar. Tasty Grub. COMFY BED. What more d'ya want!? 10/10 would highly recommend 👌

We had a wonderful stay at the Schooner Bar B&B. The accommodation was ideal for our trip — very clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and really set us up perfectly for the day ahead. A sincere thank you to everyone for your hospitality and excellent service. We would highly recommend the Schooner Bar B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
