05/09/2025: Dropped in here on a short visit to Castlecomer. While the village/town was lovely and clearly developing well with quality new andrestored shopfronts and sensetive restoration of many buildings, but the star of the 'show' for our visit was the Limetree. Food was fresh and very tasty, service was very friendly and efficient. I cant say much about the atmosphere as we ate outside but everyone seemd to be enjoying the Limetree as much as we did. First Class! PS. Good value too.

18/10/2025: We had to wait about half an hour for a table inside. The place is extremely small but very busy. Service is good, and you'll definitely be entertained while you wait. The Irish breakfast was delicious. You can definitely go here, but the wait was quite annoying.

05/10/2025: Have always been meaning to go in but always forget….. wondered down today after parking in Market cross and my god it was delicious…. Couldn’t fault it at all… Arancini was amazing, Caesar salad was fresh … pizza was suberb… wait staff were fab … the price for two courses was 27 euro… I think 32 for three courses… can’t wait to go back…. Amazing!!!

04/10/2025: Visited La Rivista recently for an early dinner with a friend. My starter, a hallomi salad was good however for me a little drenched with dressing. My main, a slow cooked featherblade dish arrived to table cold so i returned for reheating. On tasting the dish my vegetables, baby potatoes, broccoli and carrots were undercooked, in fact hard and the beef was extremely tough. The main was very disappointing. When we had finished eating the server collecting our plates noted I hadn't finished my main. I told her that the meat was tough and veg were undercooked, she said she would mention to chef. When I paid the bill there was no acknowledgement of my issue which I thought was poor customer service. I didn't want to create a fuss so I paid and left. Would be reluctant to eat there again unfortunately.

24/09/2025: Great service, a warm atmosphere, and food that truly warms the soul. There’s always a tempting special offer or a friendly chat to be had. It’s the kind of place where stilettos and work boots stand side by side—whether after a hard day’s work or at the start of a great night out.

18/10/2025: A golf hotel with its own green. The rooms are unfortunately a bit dated. If you look closely, the sink is cracked, and the bathtub has seen better days. The food at the seminar was very good. We also had dinner. The quality was okay, but the service took some getting used to. Dessert was served at 11:30. For this price, I've had better hotels in central Dublin.

17/10/2025: We truly enjoyed the beauty of this hotel. Brian the concierge was a huge help with our bags and accommodations. Vegan mushroom toast wasn’t the best IMO, but other options such as fruit and cereals with oat milk.

25/08/2025: Fantastic place to have a bite to eat, the food is absolutely fantastic very good food and the staff are so good and friendly, I would highly recommend Mjs.

21/10/2025: Great spot for a GREAT burger. Chips cost extra, but after you've gotten through the burger there really is no need for chips. We share one portion between two of us and half went uneaten.

20/10/2025: Highly recommended, the waiter who served us was super nice, the food was very good and reasonably priced, the only thing is that an orange Fanta was €5, but oh well... Otherwise it was very good, good burgers

10/10/2025: The music was way to loud and the pork sandwich had more fat in it than pork. So very expensive for that..but if the music was lowered down it would be more ideal

10/10/2025: Shells is always our favorite spot in the Strand. We haven't been for a while since we moved to the SouthEast and they've done it up since last, but still the same great feel. Bustling on a Thursday afternoon, jammed lunchtime, which is a credit to any place these days. This was a ' for old time's sakes ' visit and still felt just as good as the memories.

15/10/2025: The hotel the day this restaurant is in is beautiful. The restaurant itself wasn’t fancy but felt very approachable and welcoming. The food was great and I loved that they had a Slovakian tasting menu. We didn’t have it but my husband did have the potato dish from that menu and it was excellent. The pork chop that I had was delicious! The staff was so kind and attentive. The wine was really delicious. Great start to our Dublin vacation.

01/10/2025: The ambience of the Merrion hotel was exceptional. The restaurant was lovely with good food and the chef was excellent. The thing that let it down is the service. Not great for a uptown restaurant

24/09/2025: Got stuck behind tour bus after tour bus on our way here so got there 10 min after 4. Denied entry and refuse to give a refund.
