13/10/2026: A very nice place with the atmosphere of an Irish pub, we were served by a very nice young lady who served us quickly and efficiently, advised us to choose local beer once delicious dishes. We ordered steaks that were delicious. If I have the opportunity I will come back here

11/10/2026: Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we went but we did know that in advance, we only went for drinks. We were made very welcome by the staff and local customers. The place is very clean and comfortable to enjoy a drink. Next time we go will be for food too.

22/07/2026: I stopped in here for dinner and was delighted it was dog friendly.I could order food from the restaurant ,and then sit and eat with them in a lovely separate room .The salmon was delicious, and there was really friendly local staff.

09/09/2026: A small, charming pub on a corner in the middle of nowhere. The food was excellent and the value for money was fantastic. The interior is typically Irish; the oilcloth tablecloths reminded me of days gone by. Everything is clean and highly recommended.

14/10/2026: A very nice pub with a good atmosphere. The prices are reasonable, the staff are helpful and the toilets are clean. However, I have found that it can oftentimes lack atmos.

07/09/2026: Stayed at the Connacht Hotel as a couple and had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel is clean, well decorated and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff at reception were particularly helpful and hospitable, which made the check-in experience really easy. We also had breakfast for €13.50, which I thought was great value. There was a lot of variety, including a lovely Full Irish breakfast as well as a great selection of cereals and granolas. The room itself was fairly standard and the bathroom had a slightly older style but very clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable and we both had a great night’s sleep. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again if I’m staying in Galway. Great value, friendly staff and a comfortable stay!

17/06/2026: (update): After I contacted the hotel, the management team helped resolve the issue. If you run into any booking issues, I’d recommend reaching out directly to the Guest Relations team. They seem to handle these problems much more efficiently. (original): Honestly, communicating with the reservation team by email was quite frustrating. They were polite, but it felt like they didn’t really understand my questions. For the same dates, the price they gave me by email was almost twice the price listed on their official booking website. I really don’t understand how that could happen. When I asked for an explanation, the answer was still very vague. I also asked a simple question about changing my stay dates, but the replies kept missing the point. It made the whole process much more confusing than it needed to be. I have kept all the email records, so this review is based on my actual communication with the reservation team. I hope the hotel can improve its staff training and make the reservation process clearer for guests.

25/10/2026: Although The Parnell Dublin is known today for its modern and stylish appearance, it is located in a historic location in the heart of Dublin on Parnell Street. There is no evidence that Charles Steward Parnell (1846–1891) ever visited the pub, but the pub is named after Parnell as a tribute to his role in Irish history. The building dates from around 1823, so the structure did exist during his lifetime. Parnell was one of the most important and influential Irish political leaders of the 19th century and a central figure in the struggle for Irish self-government (Home Rule). We only had drinks there, so we cannot comment on the food; however, the service was extremely friendly and welcoming. Sunday 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM Other days 12:00 PM – 11:30 PM

30/09/2026: Great bar, more of a nicer bar, not necessarily an old style publish bar. Its woth getting a drink. Was kinf of lively and loud when I visited.

10/08/2026: This is a great pub! The food is excellent and the service is very pleasant. The staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient. The burgers, in particular, are delicious. We ate there several nights and highly recommend it.
