Delicious dinner and wonderfull drinks. We wanted something special, so we asked the bartender if he could make something sweet for us. He made us a special drink called Genn's Special. It tasted amazing! 10/10 would recommend! Amazing service and amazing foods/drinks!

Nice pub with good, if somewhat pricey, food. Service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, Fish and Chips, Irish Stew and Roastbeef were fine. All meals were from 20 to 23 Euros .

I'll leave 3 stars because the waiters were kind and the atmosphere is very nice, but the food is the weak spot here. I spent 23 euros for an hamburger that was pretty bad: bacon was practically raw and too thin, the meat seemed more boiled than roasted, the """smokey sauce""" was auwful. For this price this is is not acceptable, you should work more on the quality of this dish

The pub is well-known in the area. Upon arrival, you're not yelled at but receive an abrupt welcome, then you're herded like sheep to a table. We had a great night in this bar, regardless. Average price for a Dublin drink. Food was fantastic. A couple of the male staff need to be a bit more friendly. The service was poor, and it seemed that basic requests were putting the staff out. For example, my wife ordered a starter as a main, and it seemed to annoy one of the male staff that she did not want her main with the starters, and she wanted a main portion, not the starter portion. At the end of the day, we spent over 300 euro in here, and some of the attitudes were very poor. They need to be a lot more friendly, to be honest. The first female server we had was the best for the night. Very friendly all evening.

It's not a "dingy" pub where the tables tell stories from the last 200 years... The bar area has booths, bar stools at small tables, and the counter... a few steps up there's a bistro area that's great for eating... The food was excellent and the service was attentive. I saw my first rugby match there – really interesting! The music started with folk and later became a bit more modern... I didn't check out the upper floors...

I came to watch a football match and through all the chaos of ordering food and drinks Luis was the perfect bartender not only with his service but checking regurarly our order. Any bar would be pleased to have Luis as a bartender

The Auld Dubliner

14/04/2026: An absolutely fantastic pub with a truly authentic Irish atmosphere! The Auld Dubliner captivated us from the moment we arrived – a cozy ambiance, great music, and just the right mix of lively and relaxed. Especially in the evenings, the atmosphere is superb, making every visit a special occasion. The drinks selection is excellent, the Guinness was perfectly poured, and the food was delicious and fresh. Add to that the friendly, attentive service, and you'll feel instantly welcome. Anyone looking for an authentic Irish pub experience in Dublin should definitely stop by. We'll be back!
14/04/2026: Nice pub with live music and street-side seating. Temple Bar prices, but still reasonable.
