Came here the other day with my boyfriend for some breakfast to soak up the many pints we’d had the previous night. We both had the full Irish breakfast - he requested fried eggs and I requested scrambled. It was flipping delicious. The black pudding was lovely - as was everything else on the plate! I had a white coffee, which was very nice. Genuinely hard to find coffee that isn’t burned these days! My boyfriend had a club orange, the best soda known to man. Everything was terrific. The staff were so attentive and friendly. I’d recommend making a reservation as the inside area is very small and the terrace is limited. Thank you to the entire Stage Door Cafe team! 10/10 in everything.

A lovely place! Very welcoming and (I think) traditional. Excellent breakfast... accompanied by Irish coffee... for a cheerful start.

This was a perfect way to start our first morning in Ireland. The food was good, atmosphere was cozy, and Alan was the man! We were laughing during most of our time there thanks to him. Highly recommend!

Food was top notch, atmosphere was great and the staff were great fun in their each or their own ways. Just don't ask specifically how you want your Irish coffee. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Breakfast and entertainment. Perfect combination!
We got to Dublin by ferry and it arrived EARLY. like 0530 early. We dropped our luggage at hotel and set out to find a place for breakfast. Stage Door was one of the few placed open that early on this particular Sunday.
In the heart of Temple Bar, a great location, the queue started on the street, but we only waited about 10 minutes while a guest finished and they cleared a table.
I'm questioning the one review that mentioned small plates???? Portions were huge. I ordered the full Irish and there was so much food I could not finish.
The other comment about being easily offended; spot on. We however found our host and server hysterical. They added to our experience.
For the amount of food we got I found the prices fine and in line with other establishments.
I jokingly called it "breakfast with a show", and we would definitely return next time in Dublin.

Just go! What a wonderful place. We had to queue for a little while outside so we knew we were on to something good.
The server was absolutely lovely, fast, efficient, helpful and engaging. The chef and owner was brilliant, if you’re looking for some good Irish craic, he’s your man, hilarious, helpful and genuinely lovely.
The interior is small but incredibly characterful and something to see everywhere you look.
We opted for the full Irish and it was delicious, cooked with love, fresh to order, deeply restorative for our booze soaked hungover brains and bodies.
A real gem of a place and one we wish we’d found sooner than our last day in Dublin!

We loved everything about this place. Must have a sense of humor or go someplace else. Great food, good service; we laughed the entire time we were there!
