Foley's Bar in Dublin

Somehow got lucky here twice during our stay. Once we were struggling up and down the seat finding a place that could fit seven of us for dinner, and we just so happened to walk up right as a group was leaving. Glad we did- the food was delicious! Second time was to find a bit of a quieter spot with live music to take a mid-evening break on a Friday night, and again I got lucky and found an open seat right near the guitarist. Staff were also great, quick to check in and to serve.

We were served perfectly even though it was already late for lunch. The food was very good, the toast was accompanied by a plate of soup and the fish with a bowl of potatoes for free. The staff was attentive and charming.

We stumbled upon this place by chance while looking for a pub downtown, and we were absolutely thrilled! We ordered the chowder and beef ribs; both were delicious and had generous portions, and the butter pudding for dessert was soft and lovely. There were candles on the table, and overall, the pub's interior, chairs, and tables created a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. They even have live music in the evening, which really makes you feel like you're on vacation in Ireland, so I highly recommend it! The staff were all friendly, and Maria was especially kind!! We came with friends and are leaving with wonderful memories.

This is our first time in Ireland and I really wanted to try the famous Seafood Chowder, and this restaurant was the perfect place, with excellent service from Daniel.

I booked one of the function rooms available for an event with a group with O'Neill's and it was amazing! The room was perfect with its own bartender, it had a sound system with microphones on request, and was very cosy and atmospheric! The platters for the table were delicious too and had veggie and vegan options. I would really recommend this place for any events or functions in the City Centre!

Went on a Sunday afternoon, warmly welcomed and seated by the window. Had the seafood chowder (small portion) with the soda bread and Guinness and was satiated. Chowder was delicious. Staff are very nice and the classic pub setup inside was a visual treat. Seating both inside and outside. Not too busy on a Sunday late afternoon
