04/10/2025: We were here with six people, didn't make a reservation, and were seated immediately. The service was a bit slow; we had to ask to be seated. We also had to go to the bar to pay because no one was there to serve us. The food was delicious – the fish and chips are highly recommended; it was truly delicious! Crispy breading, and the remoulade sauce was flavored with cucumber and radish.

16/10/2025: Really disappointing experience. My partner and I wanted to treat ourselves to a nice meal on a recent trip to Galway and the menu looked ideal. In fairness the starters were both really nice (hence the 2 stars), although they were a bit tight with the crab however it was the main courses that were the biggest let down, in particular with the descriptions on the menu. I ordered the crispy haddock with patatas bravas and it was nothing more than glorified fish and chips. The potatoes were simply small wedges that were bone dry. My partner ordered the scallop gratin with bisque and unfortunately there was very little bisque and no part of the dish could be described as gratin. When the waiter came and I asked if everything was ok with our food, I gave some honest, but very polite feedback and from that moment he became very defensive and his attitude immediately changed. Unfortunately it put a sour end to the meal and we quickly asked for the bill. I wouldn’t return nor recommend.

04/10/2025: We ordered a Chicken Breast burger that on the display was a breast but instead we got 2 very mini processed chicken burgers not the breast and not much taste. On the menu it said it is served with cubed potatoes but when I ordered she said it wasn't but did not say why and gave a few crisps instead. Saying all that the staff were friendly but we would not be in a hurry to return.

28/08/2025: Delicious chowder, excellent piri prawns, and a fantastic club sandwich all served with smiles from friendly staff. Great cocktails as well!! Definitely worth a visit.

02/10/2025: We had such a wonderful experience here! My daughter has a severe egg allergy, which can make eating out really stressful, but the staff went above and beyond to make us feel safe and cared for. From the moment we sat down, our server asked thoughtful questions and double-checked with the kitchen to ensure her meal was completely egg-free. Additionally the food was delicious. We will definitely return the next time we visit Killarney.

01/10/2025: Absolutely loved this hotel! It had classic Irish charm while still feeling very comfortable and welcoming. My husband especially enjoyed the putting mat in our room. We only stayed one night, but the staff were so kind and the amenities excellent. When we mentioned it was our honeymoon, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne, which made our stay extra special. Parking was close by and convenient, and the location made it easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Killarney. Highly recommend!

02/10/2025: Hands down the best fish and chips I've ever had. The portions are huge! And it was a real piece of flaky tasty fish - not just a flat piece of deep fried batter. If you're in Dublin - go here!

08/10/2025: What a lovely surprise once you walked through the door! A bar/bistro in its original form. Even though the bartender and waitress were only two in a room that was filling up quickly, they were friendly and cheerful. The service was fast (great for an evening), the presentation was beautiful, and the food was excellent! The portions were generous and reasonably priced. The only downside was the tiramisu: it wasn't soaked enough, there wasn't enough coffee, and the cream was very heavy. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

24/09/2025: Food was good. Fajitas with beef were great, cajun chicken Alfredo had a nice sauce but chicken was pretty plain. Service was very slow but nice and professional. We hat a sticky toffee pudding which was nice but overpriced.

24/10/2025: Came into the parnell for lunch yesterday evening, had the soup of the day and garlic cheese chips which were very very nice , i got chatting to the barman on and lovely waitress christien i was told of the roast beef they do so I decided the next day to come in and try , working in the city center its hard to get a proper dinner and this roast was up there with the best . Credit to the chef. S

19/10/2025: We went in without high expectations and were truly delighted! The atmosphere was typical of an Irish pub, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent! The lady who served us was attentive, very kind, and always smiling. The restrooms were also very clean and smelled great. I highly recommend it.
