30/10/2024: Atmosphere on a fairly quiet Tuesday evening but we were really looking for that. A sublime choice of crafted beers. Personally I was able to taste a particularly interesting oyster stout and an excellent OHaras 51 state. Rock music for people my age, quite nostalgic for the 90s 😂. Edit: second evening here. Fu.king good playlist! Even my 20-year-old daughter, a music expert and student in Waterford, thought it was amazing! And my beer is still just as good!

18/10/2024: Nice pub with great beers and variety of whiskeys

21/10/2024: Delicious Sunday lunch. A treat as it is quite expensive. Service is always great and food is always great! Chicken supreme Andalusia and duck salad were lovely. Chocolate brownie special was fabulous and also creme brulee! Restaurant could have been slightly warmer. Starter prawns weren’t fantastic. The bathrooms are so cool and love the decor. We have been coming for years.

29/10/2024: It was great. We warned that it could be 15 minute wait to be seated as we wanted food, which we were happy to do. A table was found with in 2 minutes and cleared for our use. I had the cottage pie with was excellent.

28/10/2024: Nice pub with plenty of seating. We didn't realize it was seated yourself so we wasted time looking for staff. I was happy to see a cocktail menu since so many places in Ireland seem to favor Guinness and wine. The bogeyman cocktail was good & my husband enjoyed his old fashion. The calamari was good. The place got crowded early on a Saturday evening but service was good.

31/10/2024: Absolutely loved our stay in the granville hotel ,the staff are absolutely amazing and the food is outstanding from bar food to the restaurant, the hotel itself is a wonderful old building that's so warm and comfortable and very convenient to all Waterford has to offer ,we will definitely return to this wonderful hotel and its warm friendly staff.

07/10/2024: Upon visiting waterford for business purposes I popped into the hotel for breakfast. It was 09.57hrs , the lady at the desk stated to make our way over to breakfast room that it was served at 10.00hrs. On making our way there a staff member in the breakfast area asked what were we doing here and we stated we were directed this way for breakfast . I have to say she was the most ignorant member of staff I have ever met told us to get out that breakfast isn't served until 10.00hrs and this was at 09.58hrs. She shut the door behind us. We therefore left and won't be returning. It takes nothing to be nice to people, and we felt like a total inconvenience to the hotel especially this staff member.

05/11/2024: Food very tasty. But would prefer if bar was separate as when dining with kids, it's not ideal to be dealing with drinkers and having to walk-through them to get to the dining tables. Staff were very friendly and the fish and chips was yummy. Goats cheese salad also a winner and kids menu catered 4 child's tastes too. Too full to take advantage of dessert.

22/10/2024: Lovely pub a short walk from the Cliffs of Moher Hotel. At the time I went in, it was pretty full with locals listening to the live music, drinking and enjoying the company. It felt very authentic Irish and even though we weren’t part of the community we felt very welcomed. The food was amazing! Fresh ingredients and good portions. I had the fish and chips and the fish melted in your mouth. They had a good selections of beer and drinks. The Guinness was very delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was also very accommodating and kind. We hand a wonderful time and would love to come back and enjoy the food and the ambiance again.

30/10/2024: Super friendly coffee shop with generous sized Irish Breakfasts that kept us going til dinner. We had to return the next for an equally good experience.

07/10/2024: Service was very kind. The restaurant itself was ok (3.5 stars for ambient). Unfortunately, the food was rather mediocre (2.5 stars). Not bad overall, but some flaws like watery vegetables and lack of salt and spices - and everything came so fast that it was probably not fresh. So in the end still ok, 3 stars especially because of the friendly service, but with much room for culinary improvement.

14/11/2024: Really nice food. Not a lot of options on the lunch menu but better to do a few things really good than lots of things average! Nice to eat on the terrace with a view of the sea (kind of, there are a few hills in the way)

13/11/2024: Hit and miss is the only way to discribe this place . Sometimes the staff are amazing other times non existent. Young lad working there needs to learn some skills in how to be pleasant to customers he seemed p- off with everyone , I’m sure he’s a nice lad but maybe more training is required.. The food is good but service times are a bit odd with no food being served between 11.30-12 while the menus change from breakfast to lunch which leave you with the option of a pastry and coffee for that 30min not ideal if you are on a work break and need something more substantial. I think in short go here early for breakfast or late for lunch /brunch but not at 11.30am and hopefully when the right staff are on ….. “hit and miss” Ps A goodbye /have a nice day would be nice when people are leaving ..

09/08/2024: Great pub. We were out the back in a covered in beer garden. Pints of Guinness were lovely and cold.

09/10/2024: Their catering was amazing. Solid choices everyone would like, done well, served hot & quickly to 50 people. They were cleaned up and gone before we knew it. Highly recommended. 👍🏻

30/09/2024: I've heard alot of people recommending this place so finally decided to give it a go once and for all. Welcomed in the minute we entered and shown to our seats. Both got a full breakfast and which both were lovely. The fry also came with a bowl of chips on the plate which is different than most places. Very reasonably priced for the quality.

31/10/2024: Best restaurant hands down in Dingle. Excellent food, wonderful service, and a great place to learn about the history of Dingle and the surrounding area.

28/10/2024: The only place to eat if you want to impress a friend or colleague. Simply put exceptional food.
