11/08/2025: La música era demasiado alta. Hizo que toda la experiencia fuera extremadamente dolorosa, físicamente dolorosa. Pedí otra mesa más lejos de los altavoces, pero me dijeron que no había ninguna. El tono de nuestro camarero fue de lo más desagradable. Realmente no parecía importarle. En cuanto a la comida, tomó cerca de una hora para obtener nuestras hamburguesas y no eran nada especial. ¡La peor cena en Irlanda hasta ahora! Nos alojaremos en Cork durante 3 días, pero nunca pondremos un pie en Dwyers nunca más. ¡Advertimos a nuestros amigos que no vayan!

25/07/2025: Went here Sunday 20th July the service was very poor almost seemed disappointed we came into the restaurant And the food wasn't any better I got the fish n chips which was very poor the batter was soggy and under cooked my daughters got the Thai red curry which seemed to have a full bunch of coriander in it and the other got the pan fried cod which in fairness wasn't bad but overall it was not good !!

14/08/2025: We had an absolutely wonderful time at The Glenmalure Lodge. The food was exceptional - the lamb was exquisite and cooked to perfection, with generous portions that left us completely satisfied. What truly made our visit special was the incredibly welcoming and helpful staff. Their warm hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. As an extra touch of kindness, they even allowed us to park our motorhome overnight in their car park free of charge, which was greatly appreciated. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and genuine Irish hospitality makes The Glenmalure Lodge a true gem. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to all the staff for making our visit so memorable!

14/08/2025: I stayed overnight in my camper on the car park, thanks to BritStops for helping me discover this hidden gem. Waking up to the stunning valley views. The pub is lively and welcoming, with a fantastic kitchen. Dinner was absolutely delicious – generous portions, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The bar offers a wide selection of drinks, and the staff give great advice to help you choose something you’ll love. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive, freshly prepared and hearty, the perfect start to the day. While I didn’t stay in one of the rooms, I was kindly allowed to use the shower in the morning – much appreciated! Friendly service, great food, and a beautiful setting make this a place I’d gladly return to.

04/08/2025: Went for a meal and would like a weekend there...great food in a modern, bright and well maintained setting. Good traditional Irish friendly welcome and atmosphere.

28/07/2025: Lovely hotel but for price point would have expected better. We booked a room with a balcony which was quite spacious but I felt the bathroom was too small. I was looking forward to a relaxing bath but it felt too confined & when my partner went to try it out, the water had a brownish hue so that put me off completely. Could get rid of desk area with mirror & extend bathrooms, especially in the balcony rooms. The balcony itself was very big & had stunning views, but again needs some maintenance, boards falling at the side & a bad finish to the front, again for the price point would expect better. Was disappointed on check in that the receptionist called out our room number when other people around the lobby, if I was travelling alone, I would have asked for my room to be changed. We were advised on check in there was live music in the bar @ 9pm so we came down to have a drink & to check it out, but there was no music on & no real atmosphere, so we went back to our room to chill out. Breakfast was ok, sausages & eggs where good but did not enjoy the rest. Apple juice was very watered down & tasted more like water. Overall, will love to come back to Sneem, but don't think we will book this hotel, sadly.

30/07/2025: Outstanding service with the friendliest & helpful staff who go out of their way to help you. The food was excellent, fresh, delicious & presentation so well & great value. The pub is spotless & lovely atmosphere for the second you walk in, also beautiful outdoor space which is decorated really well. Highly recommend . Thanks for a lovely evening in an authentic Irish gastro pub.

19/06/2025: Our group of dog and 3 persons were welcomed on the outside and well looked after. Food was second to none, chicken salad and bacon and cabbage as well as shared desserts just delicious. We will bring family and friends back there, thank you to the entire team

23/08/2025: Really enjoyed the homemade lasagna. Kids cleared their plates! Friendly staff, but it's the little things that matter. Arrived quite early but we're still accommodated...plastic cups for kids (not a lot restaurants have them) so a proper kid friendly restaurant...great 90's playlist in the background and when I asked for a pint glass of Coke...I got a pint glass!

19/08/2025: We had lunch here after taking Barry Molone's walking tour. Very friendly family-run pub. Excellent espresso martini for the wife; excellent whiskey cocktail for myself. I did not like my seafood pie, but that's on me for choosing it. It was well made, it's just not something I would like, and now I know. The other food looked great. I had a couple of the wife's chips; excellent.

18/06/2025: Really nice place for a coffee or a meal. Cake portions are very large. The staff are lovely - so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. 👍

18/08/2025: Popped in for beer and onion rings. Atmosphere is loud and busy. Food was okay. My perspective is that it is mostly self service. They were busy when we arrived so understood needing to step up to the bar for our drinks. But it cleared out and service was still awful. It was like none of the servers felt then need to check on customers at the tables for drinks or food orders. Had to keep going to the bar to get a food order in and a second beer.
