29/08/2026: Avocado toast with a tiny bit of avocado, cold poached eggs, cold haloumi - very disappointed for a first time experience. My partner had a sandwich with uncooked and chewy pieces of chicken thigh, which was unpleasant and morever, made him feel like having a food poisoning afterwards. He ate just half. The high review made us try the place. The unproper cooking and unfriendly staff (who looked angry because we didn't tip) made us never come back.

22/08/2026: Extremely shocked that this plate of nachos was allowed to leave the kitchen…. This was literally a bunch of freezing cold, slop piled ingredient after ingredient…. It was so unbelievably bland and tasteless with no spices or seasoning to the point where the jalapeños which are supposed to be spicy and kick you in the face tasted like cucumber slices.

07/06/2026: Perfect position midway on the main street with a large free carpark at the rea. Very busy for food starting with breakfast, good menu

24/08/2026: The fried Plaice was two totally different colors, textures, and tastes. See photo. €4 for a tiny bottle of Diet Coke. Learn what seasoning is, the bottle of salt at the table was graciously used to achieve any sort of flavor at all. Music was ATROCIOUS. The only saving grace was that they forgot our soup, which we did see and both agreed it would have been awful. Place is clearly understaffed, but the employees seem to be trying, which I appreciate. Cheers.

22/08/2026: Had food after a training course really lovely food and staff really nice

05/09/2026: Stopped off today for a bite to eat, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The bread that accompanied the chowder was hard, and the bruschetta resembled cheese on toast with just two cherry tomatoes on top. The mains were equally disappointing. The sweet potato fries were very overdone, and the open salmon sandwich was practically inedible. Overall, the quality of the food was well below what we expected, and sadly we left very disappointed.

18/08/2026: After having left The Quays across the street because the service was so bad, came here and loved it .. great menu. Super friendly and efficient service , thanks to Ruairi and better value than The Quays . Will come back .

18/08/2026: The bar enchanted us. The people, the live music, the atmosphere, the food, and the service were simply wonderful. Gemma, in particular, is a friendly, warm, and incredibly funny server who made our last evening in Galway so special. THANK YOU! Reservations are definitely recommended, or you might get very lucky :)

22/08/2026: Defo a 5-star place. The food was fantastic. Full of flavour, beautifully presented, and very delicious. You can tell real care goes into the preparation. The service was equally impressive. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, either for a beer session with friends or and family lunch/dinner. The place itself is clean, spacious, and very well kept, with plenty of room to sit comfortably. It's definitely somewhere I would happily return to, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

08/09/2026: Great few days at this 3star Eviston Hotel We had a 4star experience between the very helpful staff especially Jennifer Asst Manager who oversaw the staff and food in the Danny Mann restaurant The entertainment in the Restaurant was very enjoyable The breakfasts were really nice All in all we had a great few days and we will be back

20/08/2026: Beautiful small pub/restaurant. The food is simple but very good. The seafood chowder and sandwiches were excellent. Dairy-free options available! I highly recommend it.

19/08/2026: Very cozy, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Right by the harbor, small parking lot in town. Unfortunately, we have to leave tomorrow, otherwise we would have come back.

07/09/2026: Probably the best food in Galway. Got there by accident and oh God, how lucky it was. Hidden gem ! Nice atmosphere, cool decor. We ordered ribs and lamb shack. I usually never order lamb shack as from my experience its just never done well as restuarants rush orders out. We waited around 35min and it was WORTH every second. Ribs were so incredibly done, nice around and juicy inside. My lamb shack just melted off the bone. Sauces were amazing, even the side dish of steamed vegs were done to a perfection. Been there twice within one week and just planning another trip. Wherever in Galway you live - its so worth the drive.

03/09/2026: Service is shocking. Workers are the rudest people on the earth. Food is nice but unfortunately the absolute disgraceful behaviour from the workers led us to leave and cancel the order. Very disappointed as this has been an ongoing issue in The Seven.
