24/03/2026: A great atmosphere and wonderful event space! Loved the music that day.

13/03/2026: Warning!! This pub charges arbitrarily. We went for dinner with friends and they manually added 10%. They claimed it was because there were a lot of us.

25/09/2025: The seafood chowder was rich with lots of seafood in a tasty base The servers were very nice and efficient

03/09/2025: Nice place to have different types of food. We had chicken wings as starter that were marinated with hoisin sauce (Asian style) and we had the mussels in Asian style - also really delicious!

19/04/2026: Avoid. Arrogant. I’m a 42 year old man in a group of 4 and they refused to serve us. The older guy just said no to the younger barman who was about to serve us. This young kid then said ‘you’ve had too many’. 🙈🙈 Such weird behaviour we were a small group and had had around 5 pints all day. It’s funny when just after Covid they were all crying out for customers now the Dublin arrogance is back. Stay away. Spend your money in a place where you’re welcomed and treated as adults.

14/03/2026: Spent a fantastic Friday afternoon and evening at Peploe’s with friends celebrating a significant birthday, and I left wondering why I haven’t been coming here more often! The atmosphere is brilliant – so buzzy – and its location on St Stephen’s Green makes it feel like a little oasis in the heart of the city. The food was fabulous and the service excellent throughout. Gina in particular was so lovely and made us feel genuinely welcome. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at Peploe’s for such a wonderful day

22/02/2026: Lovely spot for a long Saturday lunch. From the warm welcome, hanging our coats up to the wonderful food and service, this place is casual, but not to casual, smart but not stuffy, the perfect mix with a great atmosphere - definitely recommended and we will definitely be back. 👌

20/02/2026: Went here tonight for some food , big mistake and even bigger let down , I got a chicken burger and chips , there was no taste whatsoever in the burger it was terrible and the chips were all burnt so badly that they were completely unbeatable , a member of staff asked was everything OK, i showed her the chips and she fully agreed with me and apologised straight away , I would definitely have got nicer food in supermacs fast food takeaway , I basically paid €20 for an apology , first and definitely last time going here , Cork is full of really nice places to eat I just happened to pick one of the worst places to waste my hard earned money and time , please for your own sake dont make the stupid mistake I made by going here....

16/10/2025: We were visiting family and went there for something to eat. From getting there it felt like we were welcome. We got our table and Danni Kennedy served us. She was very welcoming and friendly. It just felt that she could not do enough for us. The food was excellent and very tasty.

16/10/2025: Went to Jeremiah’s over the weekend, lovely pub with a lovely atmosphere. We got served by Danni who was very friendly and professional, a credit to your business. Will be returning soon

02/03/2026: We could not have been happier with our wedding at Rathsallagh House 😊 We live in Australia and only saw the venue in person for the first time on our wedding day - but from the start, the communication was super clear and Megan was so friendly that we always felt at ease. We genuinely trusted them to make our special day perfect, and they truly did. The house itself is spectacular. Driving up the avenue, we felt incredibly lucky to be getting married there. We had 70 guests at our wedding which was in the drawing room. We loved the cosy, warm, Christmas atmosphere. What we loved most, though, was the staff. We felt so special and so well looked after all day. Tara was our wedding coordinator on the day and made sure everything ran smoothly. She was supportive, warm and professional — exactly what you hope for on your wedding day. We had the glam room that morning, which was the perfect way to start the day. The room is beautiful and the food was lovely. Our guests are still talking about the two lads behind the bar — they were fantastic all night. The day after the wedding, Nikki kindly and enthusiastically took us on a tour of the house so we could see all the rooms. Our bridal room was amazing — we loved the bath, and enjoying a nice coffee brought to our room. We honestly can’t wait to return and wish we could do it all over again.

17/03/2026: What an experience from start to finish the day before paddy's day. Extremely quiet so my girlfriend and I were nervous but my god the food and service was top class, we had intended on going to Waterville but they were finishing up at 8pm. The fish and chips and curry were outrageous, and we shared the chocolate fudge cake, unreal food.

09/04/2026: The food is truly exceptional. It's not a highly recommended place for those looking to save money, but it's highly recommended for a special occasion. It was a memorable experience and we will definitely return.
