Popped in for some dinner. Burgers and chips. The ingredients were quality products, our waiter was top notch, it was pricy though. 4 meals & chips and 2 bottles of water €72 *bonus points for having gluten free options

We were visiting Ireland for spring break. My kids had been wanting to try Irish burgers. After a long day of sightseeing my son found this place. The wait staff is amazing and friendly from start to finish. We ordered 4 different types of burgers, onion rings, and Guinness. Everything was absolutely amazing. Each and every burger was phenomenal: succulent, tender, and flavorful! It was clear the beef was organic and free range. We had the Wagyu, the Brazilian, the Dubliner, and the Classic. The kids love bacon so we added that as well. The sauces that went with each burger was out of this world delicious. The brioche bun was sweet and fluffy. The atmosphere was lively, lovely, and fun!

The burgers are definitely worth a visit. I had the guacamole burger and cheese fries. It's clean, the food arrived quickly, and the service was friendly.

Very friendly waiters and great food! The only slightly confusing thing was that the prices on the wall were not up to date, but it wasn’t a problem at all. Overall, a very good experience.

Atmosphere is really nice and the location is really convenient. Sadly that's where the pros end. While food were good in quality, it totally lacks in taste. The protein ( Chicken , Lamb ) were not seasoned in anyway with a very bland taste. The combination with other ingredients made the Chicken burger some what tasteful , however the combination for the lamb burger was totally bland. In addition to that with the price , the burgers should accompany fries or any other plated snacks which does not. As the price is purely for the burger, it's not worth. Had to order fries separately. All together, the meal was over priced without much taste.

Mullingar House

23/03/2026: Staying with work in The West County Hotel and went for walk in Phoenix Park. Called in here for bite to eat and a drink on way back. first thing that strikes you is the interior is really nice and the pub has real character. Food was excellent with an extensive menu and staff were just nice people. Will definitely be back and would strongly recommend it. It's outside appearance doesn't prepare you for how nice it is inside.
21/03/2026: The incredible historical depth and the remarkably cozy atmosphere of this premier traditional pub in the heart of Chapelizod make it an absolutely spectacular destination for anyone who values authentic Irish hospitality and literary heritage in Dublin. I spent a long time enjoying a perfectly poured pint and exploring the classic wooden interior because the general energy of the building is very inviting and every single corner offers a level of vintage charm that is remarkably consistent with the high standards of historic Dublin establishments. I really loved the professional kindness of the local bartenders and the thoughtful preservation of the Joyce related memorabilia because the balance of the old world tradition and the friendly community vibe is truly impressive and it provides a satisfying and rewarding experience for every visitor. The facility is maintained with a great sense of local pride and I noticed that the environment remains respectful and warm for families looking for a relaxing meal after a long walk through the nearby Phoenix Park grounds. It is a must visit for any resident or traveler who appreciates a well managed independent pub where the quality of the service is a main priority and the surrounding views of the Liffey river add a layer of natural beauty to the entire visit. I also appreciated the clean organization of the seating areas and the general sense of warmth within the lounge because it encourages a relaxed and mindful appreciation of the local pub culture while soaking in the vibrant charm of the Dublin landscape. Even though it is a popular spot for weekend regulars the organization of the service is executed with such care that you always feel like a valued guest during your stay. I will definitely be returning here soon for another evening because the combination of the prime location and the unbeatable historical profile is truly a highlight of the local neighborhood scene.
