Glas in Dublin

We’re lucky to get a table here on our last night in Dublin and so happy we did - what a beautiful experience!

Glad presents itself exceptionally well, fully living up to the expectations of a restaurant that has been featured in the Michelin Guide for some time. The menu is thoughtfully curated, sophisticated, and entirely vegetarian, with numerous vegan options. Furthermore, the ambience and interior design contribute to an elegant, fine-dining atmosphere. The menu showcases a creative array of vegetables prepared in unique, surprising ways. We particularly appreciated the attentive service, as the staff were thorough in describing every single dish. However, I did notice a few minor hiccups - most notably during the wine service, which left drops and marks on the table. Additionally, hearing the staff chat within earshot about whether customers were on a first or last date felt rather unprofessional. While these issues may seem minor, they fell slightly short of the standard expected from an establishment of this caliber.

We were in Dublin for vacation and found this place. We made a reservation and we should have had 20 euros as a prepayment for it per person, but we didn't so we paid the complette thing. We were very happy of this place. We had 2 alcohol free cocktails, that were very strong and delicious, you could taste everything in it. Then we go to the 3 course menu. What an amazing gastronomic experience, one can tell, why they got a Michelin star in 2022. My boyfriend, who is vegan, had the flammed chicory, the celeriac sausage and the green tea mousse. I, a non vegan/vegetarian, had the potato mousse, the king oyster mushroom and the apple strudel and we had our minds blown. It's a great place for special ocassions and it's very worth it. One of the waitresses was nicer than the other, but it doesn't mean they were rude. They explained our dishes and asked if we were happy about it and if we wished anything else. It was a great experience.

One of my best vegetarian experiences anywhere. I’m not a vegetarian but Glas made an outstanding attempt to convert me! Great food, great service, a truly enjoyable experience.

One of the best vegan/vegetarian restaurants I have been to. Inventive cooking that makes you go wow, at fairly reasonable prices. Lovely staff.

Absolutely scrumptious experience! The atmosphere was ambient and very comfortable. The service was attentive, informative, and accommodating!. And everything was vegan! What a breathe of fresh air! The food pairings were so complimentary to each other - taste sensation!! Definitely worth the very reasonable price for such vegan luxury!

An absolutely amazing experience. We had an unexpected 4th person, but thankfully, they could accommodate us when we called ahead. They even got us exactly the kind of table we asked for! The restaurant itself was outstanding. The food was obviously superb- first time eating Michelin star food, and it still exceeded my expectations! But the food wasn't all that made the experience. From the moment we entered, the staff made us feel very welcome. They were helpful, kind patient. Astoundingly, every server even knew every dish, and was able to give explanations of them! We're glad to have taken the 3 course meal. The restaurant vibe was the cherry on top. Open, cozy, not loud at all. Calm and quiet. Loved it!

A rare find. An all gluten-free, practically all vegan menu, and even a separate menu for people avoiding onions and garlic. And yet, very tasty and beautifully presented dishes. The 3 course menu is very reasonable priced at 54 euros.

Great food with great flavours but serving sizes on the smaller side of things. The atmosphere and service and drinks were great though.
