A fantastic and stylish restaurant in the harbor town of Dun Laoghaire. Friendly service, delicious, fresh, and crispy food, and a Guinness... what more could you want? Plus, the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Dublin area.

We loved it! There were four of us, and we sat at the bar because the place was packed. We had dinner there, and it was a great choice. Jake served us; he was charming and very attentive. We felt very welcome, and it was a pleasure for all of us to dine at this restaurant. Everything was delicious; the fish and chips and the mussels were amazing. Thank you, Jake—you are the epitome of Irish hospitality!

Lovely food, service was good and very friendly. It wasn't busy. Just a minor niggle. The waitress took our starters away when we'd finished along with our cutlery. Our main courses arrived....no cutlery. Our waitress was looking after other diners, but it really was not busy. We had to call another waiter over to ask for cutlery. As I said minor niggle but as it was so quiet in the restaurant, I think more attention could have been paid by the waitress.

Really excellent restaurant. Went with a large group for Sunday lunch. Service was excellent. Very large selection and great wine and cocktail list. Tremendous Bloody Mary. All the food very good with good size portions. Desserts excellent and cheese board really good. Hard to beat.

A very pleasant restaurant. The food was fresh and very well cooked, not greasy for fried food. The restaurant's interior is stylish.

What's not to like about al fresco in Dublin with a reasonably priced lunch menu that has plenty of options - we were very impressed. Around the table we had fish & chips (super fresh Hake, excellent), Duck ragu - great taste and generous portion and the Salmon / Crab - open sandwich. The steak / frites from the kids menu was also a hit. Every dish was very well prepared and executed. Service was very good and we look forward to coming back.
