11/09/2026: What a treat! We planned our trip to Ballydehob around visiting this restaurant, as part of our honeymoon, and the tasting menu was a stand out dining experience! The space is cosy and well designed and the staff were warm and attentive without being overbearing. The food was phenomenal, perfectly cooked and I will be thinking about soke of the courses for a long time to come. Great use of local produce and the plating was also superb on a range of interestingly textured pottery and stoneware. They also adapted easily to dietary requirements (lactose intolerance/dairy free) which can be rare in fine dining/tasting menus.

29/09/2026: This is one of our favorite pubs. The food never disappoints, and they offer a few good vegetarian options as well. We always love their soups, and we appreciate that their sandwich of the day varies regularly. They also have a great beer selection. Sometimes there’s live music, and on Thursdays they host pub quiz nights. Overall, the atmosphere is very pleasant; while it can get a bit noisy at times, it retains many traditional, old-school details that give the place a lot of charm. Plus, they have screens for sports and usually show all the major games and events across different sports.

01/10/2026: We were drawn in by the atmosphere as we were passing by and decided we were hungry. We ordered a round of Guinness and lunch, which was exactly what we needed! The beef stew was excellent and service was very friendly.

27/09/2026: Stew was nice portions small for €20. Would have said a starter, I'm still hungry! Seafood chowder was watery, had to send back. Ean out of the pudding we wanted. Wouldn't return. Only really positive was the musician and the fireplace decorations

11/10/2026: Had a lovely experience at Bar51 in Dublin. Great atmosphere, lovely surroundings and a really enjoyable place to spend time. You definitely have to try the Sunday roast there one of the best in the country.The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a nice spot in Dublin. Would happily return! ⭐️🍸

A must go for any music lovers living in Dublin and visitors with good taste. Ps: if you're just an annoying random tourist, stay at the main Temple bar Street 😂

29/07/2026: This was my first time ever experiencing Dublin and Ireland and this hotel made it that much more amazing. This gorgeous hotel sits just a 25 minute walk away from the city centre, which is great for me because I love a scenic walk! It is just close enough to experience everything the centre has to offer, but also be in the quieter bits of town when it's time to turn in for the night. I was solo traveling for the first time and felt extremely safe here. I had a single room for 3 nights, for around 147 euro a night, and had a gorgeous view. I was in room 420 and it looked directly out to the Museum of Literature, which is a stunning historic cathedral that has been converted into a museum! The room was the most adorable room with its charming wallpaper and furniture. Perfect for an old soul and history lover such as myself. The staff were so beyond lovely, and super understanding when I needed to have my room held due to a 24 flight delay from the states. And was able to check in with no hassle when I finally landed. Breakfast was included with my reservation and it was a lovely selection! They also have 2 restaurants, one that serves lunch, and one for dinner. And while I never utilized them, they were lovely to walk through while I was there. I would highly recommend staying if you are someone who values a quieter experience while in the city, something more with a bit more historic charm than a commercial hotel, and want to experience a slower pace within the fast past city. 24/06/2026: Friendly hotel. Good location for transport and walking. Northside nearer Croke park . Lots of steps/stairs in hotel. Old building with nice period features, room spacious , great shower room.. strange wardrobe set up nowhere to hang a dress even for shorter lady like myself even a knee length dress... Coeliac friendly gluten free options for cooked and buffet breakfast, great service at breakfast!!! International hotel. 24 hr reception

23/08/2026: Asked if ok with dog, ladysaid mot normally, but made exception. Once sat and ordering food was told by second person dogs not allowed, but we cpuld stay. Though if anyone came in & objected we would have to take dog out. Throughout breakfast there was a frosty attitude from server. Having saod this food was excellent, and place nice & clean. May have been easier of not ket dog in to start with.

16/08/2026: A beautiful small café with extraordinarily good food. We stumbled across this gem accidentally, and will come back the next time we happen to be in the area... Very friendly staff, lovely selection of food. Remember to bring cash!

28/09/2026: Stopped today on our journey from Kilkenny to Killarney. We were so impressed by the lovely female staff who greeted us. Dare I say ‘salt of the earth’. Food was excellent and we left promising ourselves we would return here.
