01/04/2025: Really enjoyed our lunch here on a lovely sunny day. Tried something new for once in the Fried Chicken with Waffles and was pleasantly surprised. I really liked the menu here and am really looking forward to going back to try new things. Seems like every lunch/brunch spot has the same few items but Farmer Browns really bucks that trend. Can't recommend it anymore highly.

31/03/2025: We had chicken and waffles and eggs benedict. The waffles was way too sweet for me. The flavor of the bacon and chicken was good! But the chicken was a bit overcooked. The eggs benedict was good. The hollandaise sauce was great!

11/02/2025: Its safe to say we won't be calling to this place again signs of rodent activities in wash rooms and such a smell of urine from the toilets is absolutely disgusting were waiting a while on the food some arrived hot some arrived cold its kinda gone downhill in the past while IV GOT A REALLY BAD REPLY FROM THIS PLACE REGARDING MY REVIEW WHICH WAS UNCALLED FOR IM SIMPLY JUST GIVING MY HONEST OPINION I THOUGHT THAT'S WHAT GOOGLE REVIEWS IS ABOUT OBVIOUSLY I GET SOME PLACES ARENT GONA AGREE IF THEY ARE BAD REVIEWS BUT THATS LIFE AND ITS POINTING OUT THE THINGS THEY NEED TO IMPROVE ON.

12/04/2025: Came here for a Bottomless Brunch sitting outside. The food was phenomenal and the waitress Katie was amazing. So helpful and attentive. Could not have had a better experience!

01/04/2025: Went to the Ballymore inn last night 29/03/25 for the first time in a long time, I was very disappointed and on reflection I should of sent my main back. I ordered the trout which had a very strong fishy smell on arrival and the taste was unpleasant, the sauce around the fish was flavourless. When the prices are as high as they are in the Ballymore inn the food should be top notch but I am bitterly disappointed. Update on review 01/04/25: owner did call me and was apologetic, I really appreciated this, it shows a devotion to good food and service for customers of the Ballymore inn. I will return to have food again due to the fact the owner reached out and gave me confidence that they do endeavour to serve the best and provide a good dining experience.

17/03/2025: I recommend Kate Kearney's cottage went in for a meal on a busy Sunday evening as a crowd of 20 people, with mo booking, they were able to accommodate everyone, service was excellent, taff friendly, efficient and very inviting, they had a quick turn around of food to table, delicious and excellent quality, well presented, a good menu for both vegetarian and a la carte. Price excellent overall!

23/03/2025: Une pépite ! Ne vous fiez pas à la façade du bâtiment qui cache en réalité une très belle salle de restaurant sur la mer. Le service est impeccable et les plats délicieux. Un énorme coup de cœur pour la sole !

16/03/2025: You pay for the location and views. The food is average and the decor feels tired in some respects such as the wooden table on the entry to the main restaurant upstairs ( appeared to be damaged and looks to have seen better days). It's little things like that that create the perception. I've been to Aqua several times, once on my own volition and then twice as part of other people's events and feel that my review is based on several experiences. As said, it's pricey, you're paying for the location and views and the cost of running restaurants is not cheap which puts context to price but feel the value for me is not there

31/03/2025: Great food, great service, great atmosphere - what more could you want? We followed other Trip Advisor reviews as we were in the hotel next door - and we just couldn't walk any further. The wife's face when we walked in spoke a thousand words. Looks like the type of place where the piano stops playing and all the locals stop talking and glare at you. Don't be put off it isn't like that at all and the wife really warmed to the place. More authentic than a lot of the other 'authentic' pubs advertised in Dublin.

27/03/2025: Truly sublime food in a relaxed and charming place. We had a family celebration at O'Mahony's and enjoyed every morsel of our meal. We will definitely be back.

17/04/2025: Great heated terrace, the servers are very responsive, however I had a burger (the first one, the most classic), I was disgusted by the taste of the steak, advertised as black angus, I doubt that it was, it had the same taste as the frozen steaks with onions from Lidl, I couldn't finish the burger because the steak didn't taste like meat....

08/03/2025: Attended a function in this hotel on the 7th of Mar 25 and I was wearing a party dress and high heels. As such I had brought flat shoes with me. Later in the night I went to my car in the car park and asked my partner to come with me because there was a steep slope up and I didn't was to fall. As I sat into the car to change my shoes the manager on duty approached us very aggressively and his opening statement was "Get off these premises doing that". I asked him was he speaking to us and could he repeat. He did and it escalated into a nightmare. He had accused us of doing drugs in the car park that people had seen us and reported us. I repeatedly reminded him of the severity of his accusations and after a short time my partner went to reception to report his behaviour and again he was approached aggressively and this time he told another employee to leave them that he would deal with this and then refused to make a note for his manager. Needless to say this matter is not over. The hotel itself was nice but the food was very disappointing and poor service meant our dinners were just not acceptable. Food was cold, sauce was beginning to form a skin by the time it arrived at our table. This was an absolute nightmare at a family function.

30/03/2025: Another firm favourite both for Lunch and entertaining visitors , food is good , especially daily specials , roasts , deserts, home made soups , service generally is good , by can be hit and miss when it gets busy , has lots of comfortable coves , large dining room , main area is a bit without atmosphere, food is worth the price , Bar has excellent pint of Guiness , more of a winter location but still worth a visit if you are passing for lunch etc , plenty of parking , fish of the day is excellent here as well , as is the lamb , roast beef , ham , fresh fruit pavaloa is beyond sinful ( v good ) 😊

20/03/2025: This wonderful stop is in IRELAND! 🤩 Our food was delicious. Staff was very sweet. Very helpful to us, as we were first time visitors. Loved the atmosphere in this place. It has so much character, so many things to look at. Quaint place. I would definitely recommend! If ever in Ireland again, I would definitely return to The Balrothery Inn!
