10/11/2024: We had an excellent experience at The Spaniards Inn! Arriving around 5 pm, we found the place quiet, which made for a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of with quick and efficient service. The food was delicious, with everything served fresh and exactly as we’d hoped. Perfect spot for a peaceful early evening meal—highly recommended!

26/10/2024: Loved the food here. Everything looked amazing. I had the duck and some soup and both were quite delicious. Excellent at handling gluten free.

26/10/2024: Absolutely fantastic dining experience here. My friend Ally and I had the Lamb and it was 10/10. The owner is the chef here and he is an awesome host, the food is also next level. I highly recommend Murph’s bar. If you want the best dining experience in Cavan in beautiful surroundings this is the place to come to. Regards Alan.

10/11/2024: A fabulous hotel, they could not have been nicer to us, very accomodating to our needs & requests. The place was spotless, food was great and the staff top notch. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

30/10/2024: Nice smart hotel. But we hadn’t visited for a few years, so came back for lunch. Not what it was. We were seated in the café, after waiting in reception for 5 minutes. friendly staff. But the food was not to an equal high standard. The fish and chips were fresh and good. The smoked salmon bagel was great. But the vegetarian option of stir fried vegetables was very poor. It had not been stir fried and the noodles were topped with a sickly sauce and a few mange tout. A proper wok was not involved! It was served lukewarm. The chicken curry had a balti style metal dish with an oily catering style sauce and boiled chicken pieces dropped on top. Most disappointing. Sadly we won’t be back, as we like Glenties, and with children we like to go out for a lunch time treat. Not worth €70. :(

28/10/2024: Lived our visit today to Carlingford Arms. A very well run establishment, welcoming and friendly staff. Good was value for money and very tasty. Bar area is very nice with Halloween theme and so many signs that has us laughing so much. Pinta if Guinness were excellent.

21/10/2024: We as family had a beautiful & very tasty dinner, we had 4 main courses & 1 dessert, 2 steak burgers, lasagne & cod and chips. The dessert was a chocolate fudge cake & vanilla ice cream. All of the food was fantastic

18/10/2024: I called in to this cute little place after a three hour drive in very heavy rain I was hungry and tired I was looking to take a nice sandwich and coffee take away. It was very disappointing there were 5 people before me one lady serving and it took 15min to get my coffee they only had once size cup and the only sandwich available was cheese. To my left by the door was a fridge with nothing in it only a packet of parma ham and some bottles the pictures before I stopped look lovely and the place looks inviting this place is cute but that's about it. Another 2 customers came in behind me and then left. The lady was pleasant I got a small coffee and the only semi healthy thing to eat was a bake well tart both cost me €7.50. I was very disappointed and would not go back the place looked very unkempt and disorganised, nothing like the photos . To the owners time to update and brighten the place or change your photos to what it actually looks like today .

07/10/2024: it might have been that we were a late booking at 3pm. the food was just OK. it was salmon.it wasn't that tasty.felt like it was reheated and not that fresh. staff were lovely. toilets clean which is a must. had food here 1 year ago it was better on that occasion. it's a spacious bright venue but food needs to improve.

05/10/2024: The service and staff at this place are fantastic. I had a lovely warm welcome after travelling for 12 hours. Room was lovely and clean, bed was very comfortable, and nothing was any trouble. Plenty of parking and nice restaurant and bar on site. Fully recommended if you're looking for somewhere to stay. Thank you Orchard House!

19/10/2024: Loved the Wild Honey Inn, pity we didn't get to experience the restaurant, but the breakfast was amazing! The hotel itself is lovely and the owners were so welcoming. Would highly recommend.

16/10/2024: Extremely charming inn with an amazing breakfast and lovely garden (though we stayed a little off season for it). Well located to explore the Burren.
