The location is brilliant and the food yummy and quick. If you are not too hungry go for the soup of the day and the beef burger from the kids menu :) large enough even for an adult!

Good food.
My wife and I ordered curry, chicken burger and wings.
The curry was good but the chicken was not what you would expect in a curry, it was tough.
The burger was great, a bit dry and the chicken was a bit tough but the buns were unforgettable.
The wings were disappointing, they were overcooked until the meat and bones were crunchy, it was not tasty and unpleasant. The sauce was thin, not worth eating.
25/03/2025: Group of 6. Beef roast and burgers - both delicious. One of my friends had a birthday and I just asked the staff to put a candle on a cake and had no idea that 5 of them will come to the terrace and sing “Happy Birthday”, it was such a nice surprise. Brilliant! Will definitely come back. 👏🏼

20/10/2024: It’s a long time since I had eaten here and I was hoping the food was as good as I remembered….we weren’t disappointed! The service was great - quick and friendly - and the menu had some good choices and a wide variety. Would recommend the homemade chicken curry and spaghetti bolognese in particular!
I’m pleased that Cryan’s has maintained its high quality over many years and will be definitely going back there again when we next visit!
04/10/2024: I love this place - great location on the Shannon, the best staff, great sized rooms, and Cryans traditional pub out the back is full of character, with Trad music every week. Every time we visit the Republic (at least once a year), we stay here.

17/03/2025: Julian was a great host and looked after us for the day, there was never a time when I waited for anything, we asked to change seats two times as we had some difficult guest with us and he accommodated us every time, and asked to change the rugby game twice and he did, we had a great night and have come back many times since. Thank you Julian can’t wait to come back again

14/12/2024: This restaurant was our choice of place for a retirement party on a cold December evening recently. As we entered the premises we were met by a roaring fire and greeted warmly by Tony and waitress Claire. The food was delicious and caters for special dietary requirements if necessary. The portions were very generous and great value for money. The service was attentive and there was no long delays between courses. I highly recommend Cogan's Bar to anyone looking for a quality meal in a relaxing cosy atmosphere.

Delicious food, perfectly prepared scallops, tender steak and a delicious fish dish of the day. Very good coffee and dessert. High-quality professional service. 10/04/2025: We were here for dinner around 6:15 p.m. Thursday. There was a reduced menu with an early bird offer, two of the main courses listed for the total price
29 euros. We ordered the burger menu twice and two Guinnesses. The food was good and also plentiful. Unfortunately the beer was too warm, which is something I don't know from Ireland. When we billed, we only noticed later that we had been charged the regular price of 39 euros instead of the offer price of 29 euros. I didn't think it was ok, especially since you couldn't choose from the entire menu.
09/03/2025: Proper chips for takeaway for a special treat or birthday but chips once a bit undercooked and al dente so a bit flaccid and not crispy. Chicken burger delicious. Takeaway roast dinner options a great option especially for older family members.
