30/05/2025: Familia encantadora - lugar agradable en el pueblo. Deliciosa y abundante comida, preparada con amor! Un menú largo y otro vegetariano aparte con un montón de opciones. Gran elección de vino e incluso prosecco en el grifo! También un buen lugar para pre-noche - bebidas fuera!

05/05/2025: We ate there on 2 consecutive evenings. It was incredibly delicious. The best Bolognese I have eaten in Ireland! I ordered the same cocktail both evenings because it was so good! The service was also very courteous and quick. Can only be recommended. If I came to Cork again I would eat there again at any time.

02/05/2025: I could not recommend Cooke's enough. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful, it made the meal all the nicer. The manager Frank went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after, and we could see he was doing the same for every single table. The art of "service with a smile" has unfortunately died in a lot of establishments right now, but it certainly has not in Cookes.

23/04/2025: I stayed in the Imperial Hotel for one night. The hotel is in a fantastic location 👌. The room was big and spacious and clean. I tried the breakfast for 15 euros it was ok but could be better there was plenty of food and choice. I would definitely stay in this hotel again

11/05/2025: Escápate del Guinness y visita el Oslo Bar para tomar unas interesantes y sabrosas cervezas artesanales junto con una buena comida en un ambiente cómodo. El personal estaba atento a nuestras necesidades dietéticas y pude escapar de las mismas marcas de Diageo de siempre. Muy recomendable.

04/05/2025: The moment you walk down the driveway and see the fairy lights twinkling and the candlelight glowing , you know you’re in for a real treat. The atmosphere is cheerful , the staff so welcoming and friendly, the food is superb. I know there are many very good restaurants in Kenmare and sometimes it feels like there is TOO much choice. But having been to the Lime Tree I can honestly say that it’s the pick of the bunch. The atmosphere, the lovely staff , the quality and the presentation of the food are second to none. Eating here is a memorable experience. They’ve managed to tick all the boxes , and I love the fact that it’s owned and run by a family all working together as a team to make your night special. I cannot wait to go back.

24/04/2025: Fantastic evening at the Lime Tree - beautiful setting with a cosy table by the fire, and exceptionally welcoming staff. Food was super, particularly the fish of the day (hake) and potato gratin. Can't wait to return next time we're in Kenmare!

21/05/2025: I got to luckily photograph a wedding at this gorgeous little venue a couple of week ago. And if you're looking for a venue for a more intimate stress free wedding I can't recommend this enough. Amazing staff, quirky features well it was a post office which is so cool and the grounds are beautifully kept. looking forward to being back soon :) Andy @ forgedinlovephotography

22/04/2025: ✨Stunning restaurant with great service Managed to visit over the Easter weekend. Really loved their vibe and beautiful setup inside. Bar lounge was cozy and comfortable to sit in for a couple of drinks before dining. Also bar staff took our dinner order from sitting so we were able to wait while having some drinks and go in when everything was ready. Starters and desserts were highlights of the day. Lamb pie and prawn filo pastry were delicate and scrumptious. Both of our main dishes, which were fillet steak and duck were both overcooked, lacking of jus so it was a little dry but portion was huge. Desserts were baked alaska and apple crumble. Both amazingly good and really sad that it was end of our meal. Petit four was there but one macaron and one caramel biscuit to share between two so we had to bite into each of them which isn’t really elegant if you’re dining with someone else. Overall, great experience and loved the foods, attentive staffs. Would love to come back for Sunday lunch menu.

04/05/2025: Sister pub of the Hartes Group, so food will be nice. Service was friendly and faster than in their other locations. It’s unfortunate that such a busy place doesn’t have the same vibe throughout. Front is tastefully decorated but the back bar feels very dated. Tables in the beer garden very dusty. Prices similar to the Dew Drop in Kill, however the cheese board was less generous especially when they charged €17.
