08/05/2026: Lovely Irish Country Inn, really homely and traditional. Fantastic food, so tasty with nice little extra touches.... the food is only surpassed by the brilliantly tentative staff, they couldn't be any better! 👏👏 I have dined here twice and fully intend to return. ☺️

08/09/2026: Beautiful little spot tucked away in Phoenix Park. It’s the perfect place to sit, switch off for a while and enjoy a lovely cup of coffee surrounded by nature. The staff were friendly and the setting is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Ham and cheese toasty over packed with ham I'm assuming you were trying to get rid of to the point it wasn't edible !! Fish tacos made with frozen fish that was cooked to the point of being rubbery ..Just cheap terrible value bar food and it wasn't cheap for the privilege!! avoid genuinely terrible food ..

16/09/2026: Easily the best food we’d had in all of Ireland! The decor was beautiful and stayed true to the history of the building which was written on a place card on the table. The lamb stew was out of this world and my husband loved his steak. We were lucky with the dessert of the day - lemon cheesecake with whipped cream and an ice cream scoop! It was a bit loud in there, but we came in at prime dinner time and there was live music playing which we specifically came for so no complaints there. The servers were friendly but hard to get ahold of, but again, it was peak hours and the place was packed so I can’t fault them at all. Highly recommend this place! It’s worth its price for sure!

11/06/2026: I am writing this review specifically because of one of your staff members Becca. Vibrant fun and full of energy - I have years of experience working in hospitality and also attending weddings and she is genuinely a super star and knows how to engage and have fun. Best of luck with everything and do not lose your shine! In terms of the venue I was blown away I fell in love with it, and within seconds knew we will be booking this venue for our big day I would say service was good, friendly and experienced. Again Becca stole the show - nothing worse than an NPC serving at a wedding and becca was the main character (bar the bride and groom) not a paid ad. Just seriously impressed.

03/09/2026: The food was delicious, especially the soup of the day and the fish soup. The brown bread was one of the best we've ever had, and our waiter, Guillermo, was very attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

28/08/2026: Attentive and knowledgeable staff, young but eager to please. The food was very good, I ordered the fish soup. Other friends were also satisfied with their dishes. Good IPA beer. Live music the night we were there. The pub is a generous size, so the atmosphere is a bit lost. But it's easier to find a seat.

12/09/2026: The service was very good and fast. The food wasn't good. I ordered the salmon with asparagus and couscous. Everything was completely bland. The portion was basically couscous and asparagus with salmon (since the portion of fish was tiny). The salads also lacked flavor, although the chicken that came with the salad was okay. I recommend the place only for a drink.

07/09/2026: Was there at night for drinks and the pace was hopping with a great atmosphere. Mostly a young crowd but fairly mixed. We went there the next day for lunch. I had the hake with cous cous. It was nice. My wife had the prawn pil pil and said it was delicious.

04/09/2026: After a few years since our last visit, this was extremely disappointing with both the inflated costs, only Wooden Cutelry, no available Water on the table, and the food in Cardboard Boxes along with such small pieces of Haddock ... all for approximately nearly €50. Thank you, but not coming all this way again! Kind tegards.

17/05/2026: Visited the mustard seed for dinner. Lovely atmosphere. Staff very attentive from the moment we arrived. I enjoyed sitting in the front living room, having a drink before our meal by the fire. Cannot fault the food. All fabulous. Due to high price point (but it is beautiful fine dining) I would personally only visit for a special occasion. I will return for a different special occasion and look forward to trying more items on the menu.

29/08/2026: It doesn't get a 5 because there are several imperfections in the furniture and it could use a little more attention to cleanliness, but the food is excellent—top-notch steaks with great presentation and delicious flavor. Very friendly staff.
