Lovely, bar, great friendly service however they really need to invest in their toilets. Both ladies had toilet seats that didn't fit and the hand dryer didn't work and there were no paper towels.
The Bankers is one of those Dublin pubs that instantly gives you that “this is exactly why I came to Ireland” feeling. The bright red exterior already stands out from across the street, but inside it becomes the kind of classic pub atmosphere many people hope to find in Dublin: dark wood, whiskey shelves, perfectly poured Guinness and that warm, slightly chaotic energy that makes Irish pubs so special.
What I really liked is that, despite being close to the Temple Bar area, the place still feels genuinely relaxed and authentic instead of overly touristy. You have locals casually sitting at the bar, visitors from all over the world outside in the sun, and this constant buzz of conversation that somehow never feels stressful.
The Guinness was excellent, creamy and properly poured, and the whiskey selection is much stronger than you might expect from the outside. Especially in the late afternoon, when the sunlight hits the red façade and people start filling the street outside, the whole place almost feels like a movie version of Dublin, except it is real.

Great pub - Dinner and pints our first night in Dublin. Friendly and humorous bar tender and engaging conversation with a retired local gentleman who is a regular there.

The Banker's is a fantastic spot to visit any time of day, but it really shines for afternoon drinks and a bite to eat. The atmosphere is great, the food is solid, and the staff are consistently warm and welcoming. I’d highly recommend it for any kind of social get-together.

We ended up there by chance, drawn by the menu hanging outside while walking.
We ate really well! The prices are typical for Dublin, there's not much to argue about, but they seemed slightly below average. The staff was friendly and the food was truly excellent! The atmosphere was wonderful, like in every pub in the city.
