21/05/2025: This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. Our dinner was just above average for food quality and service was below average with our server walking past our table numerous times, not taking the order properly and ignoring us at the end.
14/05/2025: Wow, wow, wow! Went 13/5/25 & thoroughly enjoyed the great food, service, ambience & the place as a whole. So much so returned 14/5/25 to music entertainment by Gally. Drinks & food again but special mention to fact I am disabled with moby scooter. This presented no problems whatsoever even tho I was conscious of taking room up with it. The staff were beyond great. The Reg is a must for the most non believers in true Irish food, drink & entertainment. Gally the singer has a beautiful voice & personality. WHEN my wife & I come back from England, this will be the first place to visit! A millions thanks The Reg, you’ve made our visit that much more special. Jan & John Steer

07/05/2025: This historic hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of all the pubs and shopping in Waterford. It is family operated and the service is impeccable! After checking out, I realized I left my Waterford crystal glasses in my room ($$). Fiona, from the front desk personally walked them to the Waterford show room and I was able to ship them home. Amazing service and honesty from this historic hotel. While the rooms are quaint, the hotel bar, food service, and beautifully decorated lobby made me greatly appreciate this fine hotel.
10/04/2025: There were 5 of us that stayed here at the Granville Hotel. All I can say is that it was just lovely! if I am ever able to visit Ireland again, I will definitely stay here again. The hotel, the rooms, the staff the food and all of the historical sites were fabulous!!

05/05/2025: Murphy’s is a great restaurant, well worth a visit. While the prices are slightly higher than in some other places, the portions are absolutely generous, making it excellent value for money. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend this place!

21/04/2025: Absolutely delicious food!! So many tasty breakfast / brunch options. Lots of baked goods too. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and really go the extra mile to make the whole experience better. My only criticism is that they mainly stock Coca-Cola products. Would be nice to see other options as most people are boycotting this company. They do have Mc Daid's football special though so it's an overall win in every category. I highly recommend the garlic fries, made with chunks of fresh garlic.

28/04/2025: What a treat we had, a superb meal with particularly good vegetarian options. We're still talking about the superb flavours and combinations, loved the beetroot and the cauliflower dishes, but every dish so beautifully presented and tasting perfect. Lovely atmosphere, great staff - take a trip to Watergrasshill and you won't be disappointed.
25/04/2025: Tapas restaurant like no other, was amazed at the quality and variety of the dishes served. Host was friendly, professional and humorous. Well worth a visit, we will definitely be back on next year's tour.

01/06/2025: Had a terrible experience here. We arrived and were immediately dismissed by the manager, who barely acknowledged us and told us to come back in 30–40 minutes. When we returned within that timeframe, she rudely informed us the kitchen was closed—no apology, no explanation, just attitude. The whole interaction felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. Definitely won’t be returning.

13/05/2025: Very good location near bus and tram stops, about 800 m from the heart of the city, easy to get around on foot. Old-fashioned hotel full of charm. Comfortable rooms but poorly soundproofed. Very good breakfasts (buffet, continental or full Irish breakfast). Saturday evening, demonstration of Irish singing and dancing in one of the hotel's two restaurants but very laborious service.

02/05/2025: Myself and my mother went for Sunday lunch, it was absolutely delicious, the staff were very helpful and friendly especially Brian,looking forward to going back soon,actually I think I'm going to make it a regular thing it was so nice.
12/04/2025: Never stayed in Youghal before. Hotel in a great location overlooking the sea, great room with sea view, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, food was lovely and will definitely be back for longer than one night.

29/05/2025: This bar was seriously cool. Such a unique vibe and absolutely stunning inside. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, from the lighting to the decor. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, and the drinks were just as impressive as the space. One of those places you walk into and instantly want to stay for hours. Loved it!
