19/11/2024: I get lunch from here most days when I’m in the office and it is one of the nicest and freshest places for food in the area. The women who run the deli and shop are very kind and are always putting on specials to switch up the menu. Here is one of the specials I got that they recommended and it was delicious! They also made sure of my dietary and allergens before selling. Would definitely recommend!!
19/09/2024: Amazing family owned business. I've heard rave reviews of their Deli but for once they lived up to the hype! A wide array of salads and sides to go with plenty of different rolls and bread.
Colm will greet you in Irish and chatted to me in length about everything from football to food all while making me a delicious flat white. I sat at the picnic tables outside taking in the last of the September sun! Everything is amazingly reasonable for the quality of ingredients and service. One of the few remaining unique Dublin locations for delicious deli food with a smile. Be sure to give it a visit you won't be disappointed

27/09/2024: Spillane's bar is a traditional Irish restaurant located in Castle Gregory, a little town in Dingle Peninsula, in Western Ireland. We came here to have dinner and it was an excellent choice. We could taste homemade food: a soup of the day as the first dish, grilled monkfish and fish with sauce as the main dish, and a crumble as dessert. All was excellent! Also, we drank a Kilkenny beer. Very recommendable!
24/09/2024: This place has gone seriously downhill. We’ve been visiting Spillanes for years and it has usually been quite good. Unfortunately our last two visits were very disappointing.
Quality of the food has really disimproved. Chowder was lukewarm and tasteless. Sent back 3 bowls which they proceeded to microwave one by one resulting in us all eating at different stages. Toasted sandwich was poor also.
We were charged for a pint of Guinness that we didn’t get but they quickly refunded that. Service was mediocre but the food let the place down significantly.
I’d be slow to return.

31/10/2024: I had the Salthill squash salad with vegan feta, and it was absolutely gorgeous! Exactly what I didn't know I needed. Highly recommend this cafe, its a cosy place to hide away from the busy city streets, the waitress is a sweetheart, and the food is really nutritious, heartwarming, satisfying food. I also ordered an Americano which was very tasty 😋
18/10/2024: Wonderful breakfast in a cozy atmosphere. I had the pancakes, which were absolutely delicious. Not too sweet and generously garnished with a flavourful fruity-sour compote, walnuts and yoghurt. Very friendly staff as well, an all around good experience! I will be returning soon!

Quality with quantity and price measure up: much better than one that was recommended to us for having a quality clover, I think.....the fish looked like Pescanova hake sticks. In this bistro GREAT and a tasty batter, and the fries with a pinch of salt! I hope to return
