13/04/2025: For dinner seated in dark poorly lit closed in area that had steps up to it even though we had a stroller! Window-lit booths at the front went empty. Food was average and pricey. Desserts disappointing. Room was pokey, not well-laid out and noisy from the corridor as was at the top of the stairs. Bathroom needs updating. Enquired about staying on another night (a Monday) and was quoted the same price as the weekend nights - short-sighted, decided against staying as a result. Difficult to get an answer on the reception. Wouldn’t choose to stay again.
07/04/2025: We booked a meal here for a group of 13 last Saturday evening, from the moment we landed we were met with friendly staff, the food was delicious and service couldn't have been better, I will definitely return

18/03/2025: Excellent food, best crispy chicken burger in the galaxy. Brilliant service, barman brought drinks to our table in the lounge as he saw my golf companion was limping from the hip. ( Due to my friend imitating a mountain goat on the corballis dunes). 5*****food and service.
11/03/2025: Large establishment with a bar restaurant section, a classic pub section and a beautiful exterior at the rear of the establishment, the garden bar. Nice choice of draft beer, classic cuisine, no surprises.

14/04/2025: To call the seafood chowder good would be an insult. I generally don’t have any significant reaction to food, but I was taken aback by how incredible the chowder was. So good in fact, I actually had to come back later that same day for another serving. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a big bowl and a pint. (The serving size was impressive too)

Had the steak which was OK ish , but re heated chips and chewy steak wasn't to be expected for almost €30 below pic are my chips V my partners . Her's were fresh where mine were reheated

31/03/2025: Overpriced and very poor food. There was more batter than fish in the battered cod, chips arent real chipper chips. The oil they use to cook leaves a terrible after taste, we had food here years ago and it was lovely, very disappointed.

15/04/2025: Lovely place with a Sea view, I was there before...we arrived 20 mins before closing time so only drinks and cake were ( reluctantly) available but we stayed anyway because we needed a hot drink after the freezing wind at the beach. The previous two times I had a nice lunch with my mom on the little sunny terrace overlooking the sea and another time my daughter went for a big burger and fries meal with her friends inside and enjoyed that too. So all in all it's a nice place if you're not under time pressure!
