23/11/2025: Wow. What can I say. Amazing service. Literally looked after from the muinet we walked in the door as was ever other customer. Nothing was too much for the staff. Food was also so tasty. Would definitely recommend 100%.

28/08/2025: Really bad drop off from this place. Was previously my favourite space for lunch in Dublin. Unfortunately with massive price increases and a drop in quality it’s not worth it. Ordered the spicy Cajun sandwich and noticed they stopped putting any sauce on it. 12€ for a dry chicken and cheese sandwich is frankly a rip off

28/08/2025: I will never visit this place again and you should not, either. However, if you decide to go there, you should definitely double-check your receipt here before paying. First I was charged 25.25 instead of 11.60 but realized only after swiping my card. Then they initiated a refund and charged my card again with the right amount (11.60), so I thought it was OK after all. I only realized on the next day (when the refund arrived) that they decided to "keep the change" and refund only 25.00.

09/01/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review – Trident Hotel This was my second stay at Trident Hotel, and once again I spent 8 wonderful nights here. Everything about this hotel is absolutely amazing. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel genuinely welcome. The hotel staff are exceptional—whether at the reception, in the kitchen, or throughout the property, everyone is warm, professional, and incredibly kind. Their attention to detail and willingness to help truly stand out. I would especially like to appreciate Kundan for his outstanding hospitality and helpful nature. He goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable, and his kindness really made my stay memorable. Even the drivers are fantastic. A special mention to Umakanth, who is an awesome driver—very professional, speaks excellent English, and is super helpful and friendly. Traveling with him was always smooth and pleasant. Overall, Trident Hotel continues to exceed my expectations, which is why I happily returned for a second stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and truly caring staff. I look forward to coming back again!

05/01/2026: Called in hoping for a late breakfast last week but were we outside the normal time of 12.00 but staff were very welcoming and there was no issue with our request. Food arrived quickly and a variety of items ordered all looked great and were polished off in no time. Coffees were super too. All on our table left very satisfied and will definitely be recommending.

28/12/2025: Food was nice but slow.but it was busy. However I was pissed that we were placed right beside the back door. It was freezing when staff walked in and out.and there were other areas to sit.

03/01/2026: This is the first time in my life I've left a restaurant without eating at least half of my meal. My sister and I ordered a seafood showdown. It was inedible... just hot, extremely salty, and with a very strange texture. It was, however, very rich in fish. The bread that came with it was very dense. The price was also excessive. It's a shame, because the atmosphere, the music, and the service were nice.

24/12/2025: To start with, this used to be a family favorite spot and we had Mam's 60th here with zero complaints, but after today we will never return as it was a total disaster. I totally understand it’s Christmas Eve and there is going to be a long wait which is fine, but we got there at 10:00 and I had to wipe the table myself. Coffees came out at 10:15/10:30 but the food didn't arrive until 11:15. I asked for water 3 times and it never came. I eventually cleaned the table and put the dishes on the bar myself, and while I was there I asked for water a 4th time only to be told "only orders from the table"—an instruction that comically came from the owner, I later found out. We actually had to go to the shops straight after we left just to get drinks because we were so dehydrated. When the breakfast finally came it was the wrong order. 2 breakfasts came out first with toast but no butter; I asked twice for butter and still none arrived. Then the other 2 breakfasts arrived after we had already started the first 2. I asked for butter a third time and it never came, and we also ordered tea twice which never arrived either. I told the waitress all of this and she was very nice and sorry, but it wasn’t her fault, it was the overall management of the place. Actions speak louder than words and we were charged for the cold coffees and full price for the breakfast, which I can only describe as 2 hours of pure frustration for what was meant to be an annual family Christmas breakfast. As you can see I’ve never left a bad review for anywhere, but this experience wins for my first ever bad review. Paying full price for what was a disaster is unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs.
