We were in Ireland vacationing and this restaurant was recommended by our AirBnb host. We loved it - so much that we returned for a second visit! The lamb Guiness stew was excellent - one of our favorite dishes!

Walking throughout Cork, we decided to try this spot. I am so glad that we stopped. Loved the atmosphere and the location. Restaurant was clean and service was professional and efficient. Our wait staff, Michael, was entertaining and friendly. Atmosphere was such that we were able to chat up tables near us. Meet some great individuals, had great food. Bangers and mash - delicious. Fish and chips - spot on. The hidden treasure was the vegetable soup. A true gem and must try. The Guinness paired well with most menu items. We will definitely patronize again. Thank you Michael and TOP for making this a wonderful experience.

Fun pub for after dinner drinks. Get there early if you want to eat. We arrived at 7 pm and they already stopped taking walk in tables for the night.

The day we went there was live traditional Irish music (I don't know if it's a regular thing, but if it's happening, don't miss it). They have a good selection of local beers and a whisky menu. The atmosphere is great, and the service was fantastic. A lively place, perfect for an afternoon out or staying all night.

13/10/2026: Came in with a group of 8 and we had a wonderful time. Pints are cheap, music is good, and bartenders are great. There is a bar in the middle surrounded by areas with bar + booth seating. Bartenders regularly left behind bar to pick up empty glasses and tidy up seating areas. We were there on a night with live music, and enjoyed the music. The age range inside is 18-24 college aged, not older.
30/09/2026: GREAT local pub. Fair prices and nice staff. The Pizza and nachos were excellent as well!

25/09/2026: Prices, well that's the first thing, we all want to know €6.80 is a starting price for a pint, here, add a burger extra €14. A side of chips another extra €7.. cost of living or loving a pint burger and chips for one.... almost €30 or more So that's prices off the main thouro streets and pub grubs here. A great pub spacious and in the heart of the City. Not far from St Patrick's Street.. Great for food, sports, relaxing and a tea or a coffee, large screens and Tvs. I got the mother clucker love the name yumm, hate the spice on the clucker to hot. If you like hot hot spicey food it's for you. I didn't enjoy it. So make sure your chocie. TV screens very good, seating for the day very good. Staff top service, prices are expensive again very costly to watch a match have a few pints and meal. A meal deal pints food entertainment in these harsh times would be welcomed from the single person or a group of four or more. Options needed here deal days. €14 a burger €7 a chip portion add pints. On top of a great venue a few minutes walk from the City Centre. With bands music and more. Over all 5 stars here the interior the choices the staff the space. Under €7 for a pint can be purchased here. When the average price is €6.40. The pub hold quizzes etc and other social events. Games, social events , it caters for any social events, a nice addition. Well worth a visit. Situated at the foot of a historic bridge.
