Bunratty Manor
Bunratty
04/06/2026: Our two night stay was perfect. Professional and welcoming staff, spacious room and very serious food in served up in the restaurant.
03/06/2026: This was the last place we stayed on our trip and they were accommodating. It was a ice place and we even had air conditioning. I wish we could have enjoyed it and the surrounding area a bit more than we had the chance to

Kenmare
15/07/2026: Wonderful stay at ODonnabhain’s. The hosts, Jer and Vanessa, along with the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable during our 3 night stay. Perfectly located in Kenmare, day trips to the Ring of Kerry and the Beara were possible.
15/07/2026: Gluten pizza which was v.nice for a random pub. Service was ok, you order from an app but it was lovely sitting in the pub garden in the sun.

Heather Restaurant
19/08/2026: We’ve only been there once so far, and we had a mushroom soup and it was very good. The place is really nice and clean, and the outdoor seating is lovely. The staff were very friendly, and there’s plenty of parking. We’ll definitely stop there again next time!
19/08/2026: The perfect place for lunch after a hike in the Gap of Dunloe. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of light and create a very welcoming atmosphere.
Good food, generous portions, friendly and attentive staff.
Average prices, private parking available.

The Bridge Bar
Ramelton
05/08/2026: What an exceptionally cozy and atmospheric little restaurant we discovered during our 14-day stay in Ramelton. I had already marked it with a star on my Google Maps, and it turns out that this little gem more than deserves its stars! The reservation didn't go very smoothly as we had very poor Wi-Fi, but we eventually managed to secure a table for four that same day by calling them. The welcome was warm, and the atmosphere pleasant and cozy. Everything on the menu looked delicious, partly due to the professional explanations from the jovial waiter who pampered us all evening. An excellent wine list also contributed to a very successful culinary evening! In short, a total experience! It is a shame to hear that this restaurant is closing its doors in September, so for anyone still wanting to secure a spot: don't hesitate!
26/07/2026: Incredible dining experience, food and service was 5 star from start to finish, I think the vegetarian main was one of the best vegetarian meals I have ever enjoyed, brilliant choice of wines and cocktails 😁

Foggy Dew
Dublin
06/05/2026: €10 for a pint of Guinness and a sandwich. Good metalhead atmosphere.
03/05/2026: My first time at the bar, and it just stands out for me: friendly atmosphere, great selection of beers, and the people at the bar were friendly; made friends and conversations with the locals.
Also, there was brilliant live music on the night I was there, and it has that real Irish feel to it. 🇮🇪

Oliver St John Gogarty
Dublin
27/07/2026: An institution of Temple bar, a must visit location for at least one pint of black 😎🎶👍
26/07/2026: After a few drinks in the noisy but cozy bar with live music, we went to the restaurant upstairs. There was live music there too. Very nice and atmospheric, but much too loud. Too loud to understand each other during the meal. The waiter was understanding and turned down the volume and showed us to a spot in the smoking area, where it was indeed wonderfully quiet, but of course not a good solution.
In the end, we stayed and had a pretty good meal.

West Wicklow House
Blessington
17/08/2026: We came here for dinner and a couple of pints. The waiters did forget about our food a little and we had to wait some time before we got the food. But once they realised it they took it really seriously even though it honestly wasnt a big deal, so honestly, I was still very satisfied with their service.
Food was great and the place itself is really lovely.
Keep up the good work guys and gals :)

Conways Kildavin
Kildavin
05/09/2026: Lovely old world type pub. Well worth a visit.
18/08/2026: Brought my kids here not that long ago. servers were perfectly nice however seemed very understaffed. my food took a very long time and was cold by the time it got to our table. no fault of the girl working as she had many tables and seemed to be doing it alone. the food was still perfectly fine and we ate and thoroughly enjoyed.i also noticed that some of the higher ups seemed to be speaking quite shortly to the staff, which i find unacceptable. if you see this, please consider hiring more people or having more help in the dining room!

Castle Vaults
Dublin
29/07/2026: This was my first time ever experiencing Dublin and Ireland and this hotel made it that much more amazing.
This gorgeous hotel sits just a 25 minute walk away from the city centre, which is great for me because I love a scenic walk! It is just close enough to experience everything the centre has to offer, but also be in the quieter bits of town when it's time to turn in for the night. I was solo traveling for the first time and felt extremely safe here. I had a single room for 3 nights, for around 147 euro a night, and had a gorgeous view. I was in room 420 and it looked directly out to the Museum of Literature, which is a stunning historic cathedral that has been converted into a museum! The room was the most adorable room with its charming wallpaper and furniture. Perfect for an old soul and history lover such as myself.
The staff were so beyond lovely, and super understanding when I needed to have my room held due to a 24 flight delay from the states. And was able to check in with no hassle when I finally landed. Breakfast was included with my reservation and it was a lovely selection! They also have 2 restaurants, one that serves lunch, and one for dinner. And while I never utilized them, they were lovely to walk through while I was there.
I would highly recommend staying if you are someone who values a quieter experience while in the city, something more with a bit more historic charm than a commercial hotel, and want to experience a slower pace within the fast past city.
Cheers!
