26/08/2025: A wonderful restaurant experience and the food is out of this world. Would HIGHLY recommend the chorizo croquettes for starters and the seabream for mains. The croquettes are huge and you get 3 of them. Golden and crispy on the outside with a smooth potato mix in the inside. The chorizo cubes added in gave it a wonderful texture and flavour and with a plentiful serving of cheese shavings on top and a bed of salad this starter is perfectly balanced. The seabream comes served in a deep dish. It had a really crispy skin too, which I absolutely loved. Served on top of new potatoes and fresh pak choi it's such a light, but filling, dish. Underneath the veg is a buttery/lemon sauce and plenty of caviar (fish roe), which adds a lovely pop of saltiness to the dish, it's truly a delight to experience such flavours. I was too full to have dessert but the table next to us did and they looked amazing. The staff were absolutely fantastic. So attentive, friendly and seem genuinely happy in their jobs. 16/10/2025: This place was so fun to enjoy for a night. The staff was attentive and friendly and the crowd was very energetic with the music. We very much enjoyed our night here.

16/10/2025: This place was one of our favourite stops on our Galway pub crawl. The vibes were HIGH and the acoustic performers were absolutely brilliant and got everyone out on the dance floor with their mix of songs. Special shoutout to the fantastic CARA on bar who made hands down one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had in my life! She was so kind, beautiful and talented with the cocktails she deserves all the praise in the world! Thanks for making our 1 night in Galway so special!

09/09/2025: A fantastic experience! The restaurant is small but charming, and the service is quick. The food was all delicious. The dishes are plentiful and varied, and the lady who served us was very friendly. We didn't try the desserts because we couldn't fit them in anymore. 🤣 But they looked amazing. We saw many locals eating there, which tells you they're good food. The prices are good. It's a shame we can't go back because of our route.

The atmosphere was everything you hope for in an Irish countryside pub: cozy, welcoming, and full of character. But what impressed us the most was the kindness and genuine warmth of the staff — the level of hospitality was simply outstanding. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area — a true gem!

08/09/2025: A genuine Irish pub that's very popular with locals, so it's not too touristy. We had a delicious meal (one curry, one bangers and mesh). The service was super friendly!

12/10/2025: Stumbled on this amazing little gem down by the harbor. Friendly atmosphere and excellent servers that go the extra to elevate your visit. The food was amazing with top notch flavors, wine pairing, selection and quality. Definitely a stop to add.

05/10/2025: The place has a lovely exterior and interior, which caught my eye from my first day in Gort, therefore I knew I had to visit. The food is delicious and the service is good. Besides the food was brought fairly quickly, so the wait time didn’t feel like a hassle at all.

05/10/2025: We come here regularly and the food and service is always 10 out of 10. The food selection and price is always excellent and the staff are so lovely. It really is a local gem. Great for parties, family functions and everyday lunch. 100% recommend.

Could not commend this place enough on not only their food but the warmth and hospitality from the owners. Well done to everyone in Paddy Burkes. You are playing a blinder. What a gem of a place.

16/09/2025: We went there twice for dinner and drinks. The restaurant is very nice and cozy, with very friendly and attentive staff. The fish and chips were very good; the roasted Irish beef wasn't my cup of tea, but that's certainly a matter of taste. We had a couple of lovely evenings there. Enjoy your visit! Suitable for campers!

16/08/2025: The worst place. The beer was about 70% full in a pint glass, and it took just under an hour for the food to come out.
