We had little time on our first afternoon in Dublin and was staying at a hotel about a 20 minute walk from this place. Stopped in for a beer and what a beautiful bar! I think I heard the pub had been around for 200 years.... The staff was helpful and patient. We had drinks/beer and fish and chips. All of it was wonderful!

03/05/2026: Was working next door today and got such a lovely surprise—one of the team kindly brought me over a coffee and later a bagel with poached egg and salmon, which was unreal. Everything tasted super fresh and clearly made with care. Erik was especially sound and really looked after me. I dropped in afterwards to return the dishes and the place itself is really cozy with a great atmosphere, and everyone there was genuinely friendly. A gem of a spot. Thank you 😊😊
